Well, I've posted a few times here but figure it's time to introduce myself. Nick is Axys Denyed (say it phoentically, you'll get it Wink ) This is my first ARG, but hopefully not my last. I'll help however I can, even if it is just to lurk and spec Very Happy

Sweet! Looks like phun!

I'm changing to a new dept here at work next week which may not allow the kind of time I like to put into an ARG, but if things work out, I'll definitely dive in and follow along.

Greetings everyone, especially the familiar 'faces'.

I got hooked during Metacortechs and closely followed ILB. I'm usually playing along from work (hence the nickname) and therefore have twice the motivation to get puzzles solved. So bring 'em on!

Weephun, you've recently been mentioned here - what exactly did you do in ILB to change the story? Good to have some people with ARG experience on board.

[EDIT: Off topic a wee bit I know, don't worry mods - it'll only take a sec Wink]

[condensed version] I turned in the Sleeping Princess to Melissa long before (if ever) the PMs planned on having her captured. They had made her so sweet and innocent that they didn't think that anyone would rat her out. whoops Embarassed

This in turn, led to the creation of "factions" of those following Melissa vs the SP vs the flea vs Dana some combination of those 4. It was really cool to see all the factions working separate, yet together as we were all headed for a similar goal, but had differing opinions on how to get there. This also created the start of the online and phone hunting collaboration teams as that became necessary to free the SP, and in a great turn of irony eventually capture her again to end the game.

Sooo, yah. I have some experience in ARGing (though ILB was my first, and there are many others here with much more experience than me). I'm glad to see some others here that are good puzzlers too. If it has to do with base # conversion (hex, decimal, etc) or other sorts of math, I do OK, but otherwise I'm not so good at the puzzles. I stick to the organizing of forces to accomplish tasks. That seems to be where I'm best.

Anyway. Thanks for the shout out. Now back to your regularly scheduled introductions. Wink

howdy,

i'm dave. i worked on urban hunt. prior to that the only ARG i had played was majestic (whats up beta testers?). i also recently participated in the david blaine challenge over at q4t.

i'm an avid game player and puzzle solver, and am particularly fond of urban rallies such as The Game, Midnight Madness, and the Urban Challenge.

i travel around the country with my work, but spend most of my time between arkansas and new york city.

ready to find the cube. hello to all.

Greetings, all. I'm a career-driven Londoner with fond memories of the Beast and a knack for unwinding convoluted storylines, and I'm very much looking forward to losing a few weeks of my life with you all.

It's good to see a bunch of fresh faces around here. Welcome all.

Now... there is the issue of a certain number on a certain postcard that we've been wrestling with and need fresh ideas for. *cough*

Enjoy your stay.

Atrophied here,
some of you may recognise me from ILB, I also followed S&S until that died (although I didn't do much posting throughout that game.)

Looking forward to getting into another ARG and meeting a bunch of new people.
(I'm also following Synagoga - minus the AIM part Razz and I'm usually too late for the puzzles as well.)

Hey all-- figured I should say hi. Just caught up on all of the treads that I had missed (saw the article in the NY Times, which by the way was conspicuously missed from the ads-- no one, and I mean no one buys or reads the NY Sun.... but I digress)

Actually, I don't digress... just a thought, random side note are the other papers read... or are they all sub-par (I don't particularly consider USA Today newsworthy either)... and why? Are the papers all held by the same company-- might give us some insight. I'll check- but I guess that posts on another board

Look forward to it all... Oh and as for 221545484848465100503215 I've done everything I can to it.... although if we are dealing with a parrallel I find it odd that it is in the stamp area-- which could make it an account number, or payment number...

anyway-- for the record
