Love your avatar, toongoon. The Iron Giant was an awesome, but sadly often overlooked, movie.

another noob

Hi all, I'm a noob too. Actually I followed the Beast on Cloudmakers from the beginning but kind of passively. I'll try to get more implicated in this ARG. I'm not very good at cypher yet but I intend to learn. On the other hand I speak French, English, Spanish and Japanese so I might be of help in the language department...

Thanks SpaceBass. I find myself promoting that movie whenever it may come up in conversation. .....Criminally overlooked is more like it...

I'm hoping it receives some more attention now that Brad Bird (director The Incredibles) mentions it on the Incredibles DVD.

Now see what you did... you got me going....

re: the iron giant, if it heartens your day somewhat, you might like to know that it was included in the top 15 (cant remember what place) of the greatest cartoons ever thing shown on channel 4 a couple of weeks ago. again, lots of people mentioned the underratedness. i was just happy samurai jack got a mention ;)

rach =)

Hi everybody! Another newbie here!
I've never played an ARG before, and I'm looking forward to playing Perplex City.
Since this morning, when I found out about PC, I've been doing quite some reading, so I think I'm up to speed (wiki and primer are very helpful)

Morning all.

Also a newbie, after reading the Gruaniad article reprinted in the press section.

Very new here, and just finding my feet. Primer and wiki have also been of great use to me... looking forward to the ongoing investigation.

Greetings!

Hey all. I've been looking over the Project Syzygy stuff for a while, but I'm just now registering for the forum.

I've never actually participated in an ARG before, only lurked through I Love Bees and the beginning of this one. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute to this one, though with classes I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep up with you guys, heh. You all work so fast...

I've noticed that Japanese has played a bit of a part in this ARG, what with Go terms and the video shot in Tokyo and all. I'm studying Japanese, and I've played Go, so if there's any translation or Go knowledge needed hopefully I can help out with that.

Hey everyone. New to ARGs also, hoping I can prove my name wrong. We'll see how well that works, looking forward to this either way...

Hello

Another Lurker finally making the step towards getting more involved. Only discovered this fairly recently although I had seen the project syzygy coded advert in The Guardian job section last year. Unfortunately for me, I mislaid said newspaper before having a go at cracking the code. Ive never participated in an ARG before so be gentle.

Hello

We lurkers do seem to be emerging, don't we. I have a question to ask and I decided that now would be the time to give myself a name. I blame a friend entirely for dragging me into Syzygy and as with all ARGs, I can't look away. Hope I can be of some use somewhere along the line.

I'm not a lurker, since i discovered ARGs today while searching around wikipedia for things about MMOGs. Frankly, at least for this star of mine on the ARGs world, I don't think I can be of much help.... But I'll stay tuned to learn ^^.

Btw, I'm brazillian, so please forgive any bad engilsh

Hello!

Hi! I'm really really interested, but absolutelly new to this. So, thought I'd introduce myself then will probably take a back seat - it seems pretty complicated playing these games!
But you never know - maybe I will get the hang of it!

Welcome former lurkers, from a newbie to other newbies. Just wanted to remind you not forget to Search before you post, and pick a small-sized avatar if you want to have one.

Also I recommend you to visit this thread: The Cube / Perplexcity, beginners LOOK HERE
