Note: When they perplexinate you, you generally come out a LOT thinner and sexier than you actually are. I can't look at mine without going "Ooh, I'm hot!"

Hello, I've been solving cards for a couple weeks now and decided to get more involved in everything else thats been going on in Perplex City. Seems like a lot of interesting things have been happening lately Smile . There's a lot of information to go through to get caught up, but I'll make it eventually. Very Happy

Hey everyone, I'm Lex (duh) and I'm an alcoho- I mean, Perplex City semi-addict. I've been playing since the day Wave 3 came out, but I've only been seriously lurking here for a couple of weeks or so. I'm really new to ARGs, this is the first I've been a part of at all, but I'm having fun so far.

See y'all around.

Hullo All

Been into Perplex since before christmas, when I bought a starter pack with which to annoy the father/brother-in-law (they're regular puzzlers), but only really ended up getting myself slowly but surely sucked into this whole crazy world. Although I'm not a natural puzzle-doer at heart, I'm fairly stubborn and will stick with a job for a stupidly long time.
Currently sticking with the job of reading all the posts on unforum, to try and avoid major troutage. I know I'll never get there but it's worth it to calm my aching brain.

[EDIT] Meant to add, I stuck my head into the IRC chat last week. Want to add what a friendly bunch you are, even if you do seem obsessed with "new meat".[/EDIT]

Welcome, it's always nice to see more insomniacs from the North East! Shocked

GregT

Hi, I'm GregT. Er, I don't know if anyone actually reads this 38 page thread, but for what it's worth, I'm from Canberra, Australia, I'm (at time of posting) ranked about 27th in Australia (some ungodly large number worldwide), I've been playing for a couple of weeks and I'm pleased and rather surprised to have received attention for my blog in the first round-up of publicity on the new "Buzz" page. I'm madly catching up on the story, formulating a theory as to how Kurt and Sente are the brains behind the second (successful) Cube theft team, and looking forward to some sort of live events in Australia to entertain the staggeringly huge group of 240 of us that there apparently are. (Sarcasm features in the last statement - although I really would love an event.) Nice to meet you all; I'm impressed by the intelligence and maturity of the community and I look forward to helping you all to find the Cube for me. :D

If you keep saying things like this then you are most welcome my friend - though if you mean it, I fear for your mental wellbeing. Check out the 101 ways .. thread and find me some intelligence and maturity in there!

Hi everyone!
I'm Alter Ego from Essex in the UK,
i'm a self employed carpenter/general builder who also likes to play Drums with my band when we're not drunk......
PXC is my first ARG but if they all have half as much community spirit behind them as this then it won't be my last. - happy hunting/card solving,

-Matt-

P.s. sorry about the dodgy spelling / grammar e.t.c.....
P.p.s this goes for all my posts! Dunce

I'm moving into a new house in Whitechapel (E1) and needs about 90ft worth of shelves being put up. Could you do me a quote?

Re-introducing myself here. I've been away from PPC for quite some time, sheerly on the grounds that it's so enveloping that I don't know where to start. I've been rather frustrated on the grounds that I can't seem to wrap my head around the story and all the goings-on of the PPC world. Anyway, the name's Matt. I'm from the US; Pensacola, Florida to be exact. I am now attempting to re-immerse myself in PPC. We'll see how that goes.

there is a *lot* of backstory to wade through, but the new story so far thing on perplexcity.com should probably help catch you up :)
