[SPEC] Pillsbury Engineering document found at CMH

(EDIT: Was I right to add the SPEC tag to this?)

I've been looking over and over at the scans of the document found by dishboy at the CMH.

Trip report:
http://www.gttx.org/~sdishman/urbanhunt-tripreport-07272004/tripreport.html

Thread discussing visit:
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4795

Now check out the triangular tear that pentrates from pages 1-10 and indents upon 11. These tears have bothered me considerably over the last 20 hours or so.

When looking at the cover there is (in addition to the other lower damage) a diagonal cut/tear, which appears to penetrate and then drag down in an SW direction. The triangular 'tears' also support this.

My suggestion is that something sharp (a knife?) penetrated the cover and 10 pages of this document and was dragged in the direction I suggested above. (Note that in his visit thread dishboy mentions there is no weather related wear and tear)

I'm not even considering the stuff on the inside front cover at this stage.

Not also that this puncture, in penetrating all the way through to page 11, also penetrates right up to division 2 of the document, of which subsequent pages 12-16 note the 'set number' #3759 at the base of each.

More food for thought perhaps? Did this document save someone's life... literally?

Thanks again for making the trip out the dishboy!

Hali

EDIT: I am, of course, healthily keeping in the back of my mind the current news on this document re: email communication between dishboy and charles

Oooo, neat speculation. But whose life? And who was attacking? Does it have anything to do with that dream about the knife with the words on it?

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking. But I haven't had time to look into it carefully yet.
