Hi, I've been quietly watching/playing Urban Hunt from its beginnings. Since reading the Beast and Metacortechs guides, I've been anxiously waiting for an ARG to play myself. I started out with the bees, but I'm finding that I enjoy the more intimate, puzzle-intensive flavor of Urban Hunt.



Anyways, I'm wondering if anyone has noticed that on the list of TT employees that have been "resolved" that there are a father and son?

Ralph Stauffer was an intern for TT, and he was described in the car crash article as being 22 when he died.

On the other hand, the Vice President of TT is one William Stauffer. Looks like an all-too familiar case of nepotism to me, especially since it's just an internship.

What's really interesting is that this William Stauffer is, along with the old webmaster Ed Vargas, not crossed out but circled with a question mark.

We all know that Ed is not with TT anymore, but isn't there spec on how Ed Vargas might be Amanda Greaves? (the anagram on the Wiki, which would explain why the auto-response to the Urban Hunt email contained the lead to urbanmythology.net, and also why Ron, the current webmaster, didn't know of it)

I think William Stauffer survived, and that he's bitter over the loss of his son. He may even be jc. Whoever he is, I think he's going to have a big role in the story to unfold.

 		Welcome SeoSeoul, and your spec is all very valid, well done!

Personally I do think that the anagram of Amanda Graves = A Man Ed Vargas cannot be just a coincidence, but I suppose it's still somewhat open to debate. Plus, then it makes sense - Ed wrote the original UH autoresponse to direct to his own site.

As for William Stauffer, interesting, very interesting. There are no 'j's or 'c's in his name at all, which sort of rules him out for jc in my mind (it's got to stand for something, right?), but I think he definitely has some part to play in all this. After all, if your workplace masterminded the death of your son, and you had suspicions about it, wouldn't you be pissed off?

Anyway, I've just woken up, this is mainly an I-agree post Very Happy
