Hi!

I found this site by accident. In fact it was almost an hour ago, I've forgotten how I got here. I simply was intrigued by the idea of an ARG and loving to solve impossible puzzles, I figured this was a place to be.

I've known about this forum for quite some time, back during the Cloverfield viral days. Took me this long to sign up! Laughing

Hi my name is Dan, and I'm the managing editor for MovieViral.com

Not sure how many of you have heard of us, but our topics of discussion definitely cross pathes. Your site and members have been a great source of information for us, and we appreciate your hard work. I hope to join the conversation on some of these amazing ARGs.

Hello everyone,

I found this place through Whedonesque and the Ditchthetech ARG, I didn't know things like this existed but I'm intrigued.

Intrigued enough to get a twitter account after avoiding it up to this point as I didn't want to be dubbed a "sheep" by my friends.

I'm just lurking around right now on a couple of trailheads but I'm looking forward to getting into an ARG when it just starts up (everything seems to be pretty well into the games at the moment).

Also looking forward to meeting new people and working my brain on some of these puzzles.

I am Fedora. I like ARGs, but always miss the initial trailhead and end up finding half-finished games. But that's just my luck.

I've got more free time now than I used to have, and I'm using it. Besides attempting to teach myself Esperanto and Lojban, I've come here to break my brain on some serious puzzles. As long as I get there on time.

In conclusion: It's nice to be here. I think I'll stay a while.

Been around for awhile but have trouble finding time to do much more than lurk.
Pleased to meet everyone and happy gaming then.

Hello! I started lurking here when I heard about Marble Hornets, possibly my favorite ARG ever. Then when I accidentally discovered a trailhead I decided to break the barrier and get an account. That was about 2 hours ago Very Happy

Hello there.

I found this forum earlier in the week, after hearing something on The Wyoming Incident and searching for information on it. (That was creepy stuff, wasn't it!) Obviously most of the discussion was on Unfiction, and that got me looking into ARG-ing in general, and I decided I wanted in!

I love mysteries and brain-games although they tend to be quite solitary activities, so the idea of being able to solve puzzles as a group effort sounds great to me.

I'm now eager to get stuck in to my first game, is it News & Rumours I need to be following for info on new ones?

Welcome! News & Rumours is indeed the place to keep an eye on new and recently started games. Even if there isn't anything that takes your fancy straight away, keep checking back as new things are always on the horizon Very Happy

I'm going to be quite frank about this, because that is my mindset at the moment, my wife has recently left me. Instead of wallowing I have decided to indulge in all the activities that I have long wanted to, but not had the time (or been allowed!) to do. I heard about ARGs a while ago and was intrigued. Now I'm going to see exactly what it is all about and get stuck in.
