Give a gift, get a gift!
I'm starting sign ups a bit earlier this year so more people get a chance to join in! I said everything best last year, so allow me to cheese out and just quote last year's post -

It isn't fair to the recipient, and you'd be upset if it was you, so please don't do it to someone else. That said, if something comes up, Talk to me and I can try to make it work out.

Elfster is going to draw names on DECEMBER 1st. You have to have your gifts in the mail by DECEMBER 15th!!!!!

Our spending limit is $25. That's not to say you have to spend $25, or even spend at all. This is really one of those times when it REALLY is the thought that counts! There are creative alternatives that people really love, such as handmade gifts or personalized puzzle trails/ARGy type stuff.


Elfster is very helpful with figuring out what someone wants/needs/likes. You can ask anonymous questions to your giftee such as "coffee or tea" or "favorite color". Those of us who have done this multiple years already have some answers up, and that helps. Also, you can fill out your profile with info, including linking to wishlists {ex. amazon, thinkgeek, etc…}

So… LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!!


Small addendum - if you jump in just to get a gift, with no intentions of sending a gift, and make no effort to contact anyone.... you will be publically shamed. Twisted Evil So don't be that guy! Or Girl! {edit for Geoff & the crusade against my total sexism Wink }

 		The names are drawn!!!! Remember to sign cards or gifts or whatever, so your giftee knows who they are getting what from {unless of course part of the gift is figuring that out}. You can open gifts whenever you get them, but don't post about them until the 15th please.

 		I certainly haven't been an active uF member in quite some time but I wanted to just send out some kudos to pixie for keeping up the Sekrit Santa tradition. It's definitely something that I look forward to every year.

 		Aw gee thanks! I look forward to this all year. Sometimes people get pretty creative. I feel like sometimes people who aren't active as on the forums as much anymore start to feel left out of the community - this is a way to bring people back together. I always say UF is like a family to me. Very Happy

 		Still haven't received mine, but I'm told it's on its way... mailing & shipping to Canada from the US is always a pain *sigh* hoping it'll arrive sometime this week. The covert buzz about this one has me somewhat excited Laughing
