[OT/Trout] Gregor Sansa

Please trout me if applicable, but from the searchs I did I seemed to have found that no one went any farther than mentioning the quote from the blog. I did a check on "Gregor Samsa" and found that he is a character in a scifi novel called The Metamorphasis by Franz Kafka. This is a story about a guy who wakes up as a cockroach. (Obviously from the quote).

Has anyone read this story? As we've seen from the Alice in Wonderland references that it seems to like stories. Maybe we can gleem some insite from this one also?[/u]

EDIT: Topic. Please contiune to discuss (if you wish) on the link posted below. Locked. --AnthraX101

'Tis Trout , I fear. First mentioned here, way back on July 16. The existing thread "[SPEC] The Metamorphosis and Dana" looks like a good place to redirect any further discussion.

Locky!

read it in philosophy class a few years ago... its not really a "sci-fi" story at all, there's no science to be found anywhere. Its a social satire/philosophical story (well, its Kafka, so naturally its "weird as all hell") but it concerns our feelings of self worth and our role in society

what it has to do with ILB, i'm really not sure......... maybe dana just thought it fit, the operator hasn't referenced it at all yet

edit: i started writing my reply before this got locked... sorry
