Why do I have a feeling all the admins and moderators are hanging in the back saying to themselves... (hmmm.... I'd really be interested in seeing what becomes of this, but I CAN'T endorse it...)

Disclaimer: BTW, to any admins or moderators who really do think this would be a huge detriment to the game, feel free to remove this altogether. I won't be offended. I'm honestly just having fun, not really trying to be truly annoying to the ARG world at large. I have great respect for everyone's speculation, cuz that's how stuff gets solved! I just have a large distaste for repeat offender trouters... (those who have been warned and still post junk). So, um... yeah. Consider this topic disclaimed, er... um... bye.

Yes it was a compliment. Being sick and twisted allows people to be amused by almost any situation, as long as you keep it in check and know when to be serious. And it's a good thing your doing something to stave off boredom, as boredom can lead to thinking, then doing, many evil things. (But than again good and evil are just matters of perception. This is all just my opinion. Read the sig.)

I'll tell ya something funny... There's only (when I last looked) five people crusing the forum, so that means everyone who could vote did... how funny is that? So (1) it's a ghost town today, with no update, and (2) it's a landslide victory for annoyance! Laughing

Well, after 50 votes, or two days, whichever comes sooner, this vote is official. I'm probably not even going to go ahead with this, so don't think a vote for or against is going to actually change something... Just vote with your heart, or the cold, icy stone you have in place of your heart, and we'll all have a good laugh someday about this. Really. ok, maybe not... Cool

For all that it matters I'm all for this. But even if it doesn't happen I'm have a really good laugh about now, so I guess it doesn't matter in the end. It's not the destination that matters, it's the experience you have getting there that's important.

While there is a big part of me that would love to watch how it goes, and it would go and go...

There is another part that says there would be too many that would ignore the "trout" warning and feel hurt when they discover that it was started as a way to pull that conversation off the rest of the board and into an area that the rest of us skip reading. There are a lot of ernest new faces out there who feel they have something to contribute, and a few of them have picked up the correct way to do it quickly, while the rest are like me when I walked into the middle of Chasing the Wish.

Can we agree to just give them time to get their ARG legs under them?
The ones worth keeping will be up to speed by the end of the game, and the rest will have disappeared under their own steam.

We were inundated during Project MU with Matrix Fans - we picked up a number of good keepers from that.

I just wish they would get off the subject of the rifle with the kanji markings on it... Rolling Eyes
