[PUZZLE - SOLVED] Email to ELC 3433

I'm still trying to get another response from elc3433SPLATsubcitycentral.net.

I've tried the following 3 formats:
1.
Subject: VALIDATION OF PREFIX/SUBJECTE ID SEN5241
Body blank.

2.
Subject: VALIDATION OF PREFIX/SUBJECTE ID
Body: SUBJECTE 4242 PREFIX EKS
(making up my own subjecte id and prefix here)

3.
Subject: VALIDATION OF PREFIX/SUBJECTE ID
Body: eks4242
(again, making up my own subjecte id and prefix here)

One of these mails earned me the following response from elc3433. But I'm not sure which one.
Quote:
ERICSTERN:(UNIDENTIFIED)

LAST TRANSMISSION DID NOT INCLUDE A VALID
THREE CHARACTER PREFIX AND FOUR DIGIT SUBJECTE
IDENTIFICATION

PLEASE TAKE ONE RED PILL FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER RED PILL
IN TEN MINUTES THEN TRY AGAIN

--------------------------------------------------------
THIS IS AN AUTO MESSAGE CREATED BY OMM

I've also sent several messages to ELC3433. I got the same response you did as well as one other. One of these two got the response

Subject Re: PREFIX/SUBJECTE IDENTIFICATION
Body SEN 5241

Subject Re: PREFIX/SUBJECTE IDENTIFICATION
Body ELC 3433

The response was this (from elc3433@subcitycentral):
Quote:

Caleb(UNIDENTIFIED)

LAST TRANSMISSION CONTAINED AN ASSIGNED
THREE CHARACTER PREFIX AND FOUR DIGIT SUBJECTE
IDENTIFICATION

PLEASE TAKE ONE RED PILL FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER RED PILL
IN TEN MINUTES THEN TRY AGAIN

--------------------------------------------------------
THIS IS AN AUTO MESSAGE CREATED BY OMM
--------------------------------------------------------

It may not be immediately useful but I do think that I shows we're on the right track. Today I made up a subjecte id and sent it to ELC but haven't received a response yet. It's also possible that there is an id we're supposed to find before mailing in.

/Caleb

Solved!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Send an email to elc3433SPLATsubcitycentral.net with
Subject: VALIDATION OF PREFIX/SUBJECTE ID
Body: <prefix> <subjecte id>

Just make up a prefix and subjecte id for yourself. You'll get an email back verifying it.

First off, thanks to Stormalong for crediting me for solving the Verification problem.

I have come to the conclusion that this whole thing is automated.

The Game starts properly on 14th August but I am still waiting for my Login Password, anyone else had theirs yet?

i'm a noob to the arg scene, but i love stuff like this and love logic puzzles. I've been reading all day and night and catching up on whats going on so far. I'm trying to register a prefix and subjecte id and was wondering how long it is taking everyone to get an email back.

I have sent an email a bunch of times and don't want to just keep sending off emails if they aren't necessary, Sorry if i'm stepping over bounds of ARG rules, if i get out of line, slap me around.

thanks! can't wait till the 14th!!

Hi Seven5,

When I sent off my subjecte id and prefix I waited roughly 24 hours for a verification response. I hope you hav'nt confused the system by sending off a few, as it is totally automated. All you had to do was send one blank email with your subjecte id and prefix in the subject header, which has to be 3 letters and 4 numbers, like mine, which is TUX8527.

Also, where did you send it to? Hope you sent it to elc3433SPLATsubcitycentral.net as this is the place to get verified ok.
