The plot of the axon.png has the lat and long axis askew. But if you rotate it and mirror it, you can see a string of hits down the california coast, a bunch in the north east, and one down on the tip of Florida. Now what these points are...

I did the plot before I knew what the coordinates actually were - I'm now working on plotting the points on to a map of the US. Smile

For what it's worth, here's a plot with all the points connected together. They don't appear to be in any particular order, but I could very well be wrong...

Found a lat/long plotter online, but it appears to do only one at a time:

look at this:
Coordinate
and then look at that
Wash DC

I work in Washington DC. I don't think its going to spell something out... I think its showing where we are. But this could also just be a stretch.

Is anyone planning on going to any of these places? There is one in NYC not to far from where I live: 40.7520 -73.9819

Thinking of checking it out?

Plotting points

Greetings all. What a fun game this is.

I have plotted the points. I will upload the map shortly. They seem to be scattered all over the US. I haven't had time for more analysis.

I plotted a set at random (38.8810 -77.1116) and found it to be exactly at a street intersection. A little digging to find what is there and I get:

Tulane University
901 N Stuart St
Arlington, VA 22203-1821

[*edit: Disregard- PMs typo'd, 33 is now 37. Not in ocean. Have a nice day]
As far as I can tell:
33.8669 -122.2588

Seems to be in the middle of the ocean off the west coast. There could be an island there (checking sat photos...) but this may help figure out what these points represent (not places we live for instance, unless the mermen have been helping out.)

From that Boulter site, plot one point and then click the terraserver link. Its a satellite picture of the location. While it hasn't been updated in 10 or more years, most places should be pretty accurate.

Also, based on Dana's last blog post, is it possible the AI is hiding some information in the distance between two points? They seemed to be paired like her China to CA pair.

Map

Sorry, if this is too big to show, just let me know.

MS Mappoint is a wonderful thing. Smile

What do you think? It isn't major cities - Dallas is missing.
I don't think that four decimals is going to be enough to pinpoint a specific location to visit, for GPS coords. [/img]

From Wikipedia:

Quote:
An axon, or "nerve fiber," is a long slender projection of a nerve cell, or "neuron," which conducts electrical impulses away from the neuron's cell body or soma. Axons are in effect the primary transmission lines of the nervous system, and as bundles they help make up nerves. Individual axons are microscopic in diameter--typically about one micrometre across-- but may extend to macroscopic lengths. The longest axons in the human body, for example, are those of the sciatic nerve, which run from the base of the spine to the big toe of each foot. These single-cell fibers may extend a metre or even longer.

Take this anyway you will. But it seems that going hot means that the AI has connections across the state now.

Gohoos, can you see if one of those in Northern virginia is in the fredericksburg area? If so, that's where I'm at. These might be anyone who has sent an e-mail to ladybee777.
