[SPEC] GPS Bars and Triangles

Using the spreadsheet provided in another thread (linked below) I created a graph, mostly to verify a previously stated occurance. This was that the distances between points increased in a recognizable pattern. The graph below (curvefit.jpg) does indeed show a "mostly" squared relationship. I included a curve fit line to show this fact. I'm not sure what this might mean...or if possibly this is a natural result of picking any two locations at random... but I don't believe so. So what has anyone made of this quote,

"Bars and triangles, dots, ordered but non-repeating patterns. A message, yes,"

It occurs to me that we have everything we need now... dots are the locations, bars are the lines connecting them... and triangles could be created if we had one other point. The most reasonable point would seem to be the location of Melissa. I cropped the original spreadsheet to only display the distances from each left and each right location to the ILB San Fransisco location. I don't have the ability to create these triangles on a map spatially, so I would like to know if someone might try this and see what happens. Perhaps we could get triangles that contain a similar area? I don't know...just throwing it out there.

I think you may have something there...
