 		[OT] August 24th, Our Favorite Day of the Year!
Here's a clever variant on the corrupted wish game.

I make a wish about what I would like to happen on the 24th. The next poster proceeds with "Granted, but..." and then continues to turn my fabulous wish into a corupted nightmare.

Example:

Me: I wish on August 24th, Halo 2 was released!
You: Granted, but when you put your copy in your XBox all you see is a bee buzzing around on screen.

Then the corrupter will proceed to make their wish.
In the event of two people corrupting the same wish, delete the latter post.

I'll start.

I wish that on August 24th I get to meet Dana.

 		Granted. Not only granted, but you become the first one to solve the coordinate puzzle.

Unfortunately, the answer to the puzzle is a man in a bee costume passing out flyers which read "Halo 2 has been canceled, you sucker."

I wish that on August 24th, something appears at one of the coordinate locales.

I wish that, on August 24th, this ARG spreads to a dozen more sites, with clues indicating that it will last at least a couple more months.

 		Granted, but they all turn out to be sites with a bunch of my pictures on them when I was asleep in the bathtub wearing my mom's dress and you can't stand to look at them long enough to solve the puzzles...

I wish that on August 24th they would cancel my classes so I could actually go/watch what's going on...

Granted, but in a week you lose all knowledge on what you learned.

I wish that on August 24th that Bungie sends me the Halo 2 beta.

 		Granted, you get the beta, but your XBox suffers a mysterious breakdown and implodes. It just so happens that on that day, I also buy out Microsoft and buy back all of the XBoxes, thus leaving you with nothing.

I wish that on August 24th SG would actually play instead of messing with our own posts. =)

 		granted, but she answers EVERY SINGLE PUZZLE, then locks all threads, leaving us with nothing to do, but feel rather stupid.


I wish that on Auguest 24th Bungie would hijack Microsoft's site, thus making it in-game, but without telling them what's going on, giving Bill Gates an anyeurism.

 		Granted, the spilling of Gates blood opens a rift to Heck, and Phill, prince of insuficent light will rise up to claim your soul, while Bungie gets a lawsuit from the survivors, ending any chance of their ever being a Halo 2.

I wish that things don't end with melissa squaring off with Dana.

Granted- updates now appear every hour; however, due to the limited time available to the PMs, each update consists of exactly one letter added to a single page on the site, ultimately resulting in far less information per time frame. Furthermore, this new update style so thoroughly frustrates the player community that everyone leaves in a huff.

I wish that the Haunted Apiary is officially adopted as the name of this ARG throughout the internet, thus ending the stream of terrible bee puns in news articles written about the game.
