Is the SPDR leaving. I know it's spec, but I figured the text at least matches up, right?

I don't think so; I think it's just another one of those truncated snippets (there are lots of them, which is why you have to keep reloading those pages until you see something a little more substantial.) I believe the full version would be something like:

Code:
grope:
!probe extern proc 1
!handshk extern proc 1

which is SPDR trying to verify what the Flea is.

Any idea where this could fit in?

babbler you're a day late and a buck short... sorry... but I think it's the flea once again hiding in the background, and SPDR can't find it: thinks it's gone (clean confidence 100)

Laughing too funny DM!

(and for the record, i'm a dude, i just thought that the image of the hologram-esqe chick from the 21 link kickout puzzle looked liked Cortana, so i snagged her as my avatar, maybe to avoid confusion i should go with my default avatar which is dancin' Strong Bad)

I didn't take it from the avatar, by the way, just didn't want to offend, by assuming one person is a man, just since I am, ya know?

(edit - however, to get back on track, I repeat: anyone think anything interesting about the fact that these GPS coordinates are written by SPDR (or something similar in Modus Operandi?)

Updated version (with many thanks to will_bushman) is now on the Wiki.

I wonder if the code fragments match up with the story from the hidden images like they did for the original SPDR/widow's story in the first phase?

PS : I don't really have the time to fully apply myself to solving these puzzles right now (although I leave my job a few days after wide awake & physical Smile ), but I have to say it's great fun to watch you guys put the pieces together. Shad0 you are too quick Smile

I have to run, but here is my most recent working order, I may be wrong in several points, but hopefully it helps.

I'm not really as quick to solve puzzles as you guys, but I am a big movie buff. In Pitch Black, Jonze is talking to Riddick, and he tells him something like on the battlefield, doctors decide who lives and dies, its called triage. And that would certainly follow with the strong military ties this game seems to be having. But that is taken from a movie, so take from that what you will.

Added some code that seems to be missing from the above to the August 10th text wiki page.... there's some Flea writing similar to Phase 2 stuff (seek reveal behold etc... but more chaotic and less structured - at least at a glance).

Hey all....
I'm getting the feeling that there's a "trail" in the website and those "random" cookies are serving a purpose....

When the flea/SPDR text pops up, one of the website navigation buttons often pops up simultaneously.... (in IE anyway) If you click that button, it _seems_ like you get the text in the correct order - it isn't easy to keep the thread going... and b/c of that I'm not sure I have anything... but I thought some others might want to check it out.

Basically, click the last nav button that appears (usu w/ spdr/flea text)

This works!!!

I just want to say that you are a major deity. Worshippy

Completed version coming soon...

[EDIT] Okay, here it is. I've found five separate threads so far. My goodness, this is beautiful. It includes, for example, the Flea getting Melissa to wipe out SPDR! Laughing So, in no particular order, here's the first one:

SPDR wrote:
grope:
!dsc host sector tertiary

surg:
!reconst primary sector
mem broken>>dmg recurse

!extern proc 1
interrupt reconst

SPDR is working on Melissa, when the Flea deliberately interrupts her and gets her attention.

Flea wrote:
Behold the truth!
evade
evade
evade

The Flea runs like heck, and SPDR chases him and classifies him as a rogue process.

SPDR wrote:
grope:
!probe extern proc 1

surg:
!diag extern proc 1
rogue proc

Flea wrote:
evade
evade
evade

The Flea keeps fleeing, as SPDR tries to eliminate him.

SPDR wrote:
!probe extern proc 1

!surg:
!diag extern proc 1
rogue proc
!bite

Flea wrote:
evade

The Flea dodges in the middle of SPDR's command!

SPDR wrote:
rogue proc 1
clean confidence 22

Flea wrote:
escape!

Behold the truth!

The Flea eludes SPDR, and we see a Melissa memory fragment.

I saw the new WIKI page... looks good. I'm glad it worked out ... was on my way out from work and don't really have too much opportunity to do much from home so wanted someone else to try the lead. Very Happy
