Actually, John, I think our only hope of warning The Queen about The Pious Flea is our chatty little friend The Sleeping Princess. Which is why I wrote:

Subject: a new story

ladybee777,

I also like stories where the girl takes care of things.  Let's make our own story - one where you warn The Queen about The Pious Flea.  That Pious Flea is up to no good, and warning The Queen will help you be a hero just like Gretel or Lambkin or Gerda.

I know The Queen seems very grumpy, but it is time to be brave.  You have Dana back now, and coming out of hiding and giving The Queen a warning will take care of things - for Dana, and for all of us who have been sharing stories with you, too.

Dunno if it'll help, but hey, anything's worth a try.

Hmm. I don't think the Princess necessarily has to come out of hiding to warn the Queen. I also suspect it may not go well for her if she did.

Aside from that, I like the email (good idea! Smile).

Oh fine, since you asked. Very Happy

My view is that this speculation, while coherent, just seems to me to be a little wild. We've had no evidence pointing us toward a hidden portion of the site. And I'm a little leary of turning the Spider on again. It did so well before, and it was somewhat of a threat to the Sleeping Princess.

Still, as always, we will see as the game progresses.

True... probably should have thought of that before sending it. On the other hand, conflict is necessary for a good story (or so I seem to recall my high school english teachers telling me Rolling Eyes ).

Just as long as the conflict isn't "*SPLAT* Princess dies. You lose." Razz

what about asking the SP to use the same function the flea did to mask her self as a higher version of the SPDR. Maybe get the Flea deleted and our girl with the queens ear:) Could then have the SP Convince the Queen that Dana is not her foe as well.

this is all Meta.

Meta:
It's feasable that all the communication is coming from one entity with a knack for authorial voice. I mean, the Queen is lost and adrift in our world, maybe she's speaking as the princess to get some benefit out of us or to get us to do something. In the end, we have to assume the PMs aren't that sadistic that they'd double back on themselves and give us reason to think that the princess lies or the queen forged the flea-gets-the-spider-destroyed text.
