[PUZZLE SOLVED] Richard Meyer's password On the TT interoffice memo that was given to us last night at dreadhouse.com, Greg Boyle tells Richard Meyer that he will find his password "in the usual manner."
At this point I think its far too early to be able to solve that password, nevermind the fact that we have no place to use it, but I think we can reasonably expect to have to figure it out eventually.....
any thoughts?

I was wondering if the password is what would be required to open the disc's mentioned in the memo.
We need to find Greg and find those discs???

Assuming the memo was sent with the discs and since it's likely impossible to see the info on the discs without the passcode, that points to the password being hidden in the memo somehow.

I doubt that it's in the memo...
He probably had to go somewhere and get it.
This may be solvable through a phone call.

someone was speccing that some of the text might be in italics but it's very hard to see because of the crumples. "You will find" in particular looks italicised.
Here's a version without the crumples but i'm not sure it helps - the words seem to lean in all sorts of directions.

I thought maybe the "usual" manner is the Capital Letters?
But they don't spell out anything specific (and that would make it a much safer password).

could be a possible password of some sort, however we seem to have a difficult time reaching Richard via e-mail, yet we haven't gotten a bounch back from anyone else thus far. the speculation of some is that he was terminated for some odd and strange reason. You know what that means? possible informant. Try calling and asking for someone. . I suggest Either Sandra Brown, Greg Boyle, or Joe Silver.

Maybe it is time for some telephone-terror...
My idea is to call them up, placing the call is if you were from the police or something, asking them questions about Greg or Richard?
However, it is just an idea...

i'd be careful with this, because if you're not believable it may cause them to distrust all callers to a greater degree.
also it seems kind of likely that they may be using a telephone answering service and can only improv to a small degree anyhow. from what others have reported it sounds like the people answering the phone are not very across what a real TT receptionist would be expected to know, ie. who works there. unless that's all part of the plot. unless they're waiting for trigger questions.
anyway, i'd advise caution unless you feel you have a strong strategy that is aimed towards achieving something specific.
but that's just *my* opinion of course. you should do what you want.

What are you thinking? Uh, I don't want to be rude but what are you thinking? There are two points about your idea you may want to think about. First, it is illegal to impersonate a police officer, even over the telephone. This may be a real company - answering service - we are dealing with and doing that could have major consequences. You could get this whole thing shut down for all of us. Second, if the pms want you to know something they will show you how to get it. Crazy, concoted schemes like this aren't necessary. Jesus.

Um, am I the only one that suspects that was a PM smackdown? So much for my plan to toilet paper the brick-and-mortar address...

I just took that as a sane man's statement. I was thinking the same.
