So how did they get those coordinates?

How do you think the list of coordinates was produced?

I was looking around for a map tool that would take an address and produce a lat and longitude.

Has anyone run across a mapping tool that, when given an address, returns a lat & long that matches?

I'm thinking that if we know how the list was made, we might have a better idea of what its purpose is.
