Could be, I noticed all the numbers above can be split into three groups of three e.g (first three on list) with decimal points removed:

35 22 04 -114 03 58

33 78 95 -117 91 48

39 91 16 -86 21 57

Now look at the 5913 miles link from Dana's blog. Look at location for San Fran and Bejing, first ( N-S) starts in the 30 range the second ( W-E) in the 120 range, similar to above no?

These appear to be Latitude and Longitude corodiantes. A quick scan tells me they fall mostly if not entirely in California. Looking for an online resource to plot them all for everyone to see.

looks like all the points are located in the US, because the range is very narrow.

Ok, they are not all in California, but range the entire US it appears. Still looking for an online Lat/Long map plotter.
