What if the ocean mistake wasn't a mistake? What if it was really a clue?
What was the difference between the coordinates? Wasn't it a change in the ones on the Longitude? If that's the case, and the Spider is building the roads straight out from its point of origin, then we've got a straight line defined by the 'mistake' and the 'correct' points.

Nice idea, but:
Ocean co-ordinate 33.8669 -122.2588 from here
corrected to 37.8669 -122.2588 from here
which suggests a typo, albeit a rather odd one.

What if the GPS coord represents a object and it moved? I guess that would only make sense if the "object" was a virtual one.

Coordinate Changes & Time *Bump!
Now that the coordinates have changed, has anyone calculated the distances again? Sherpa - how'd you do that so thoroughly?

In case you didn't know 210 is the product of the first 4 primes
2x3x5x7=210
Can anyone see significance or pattern in
44 - 110 - 46
or
4 - 3 - 4?

Well, somebody had to do it again. Here are the updated distances between points. Also, there is an Excel Add-in from NOAA that makes this really, really easy. It's available at
http://nmml.afsc.noaa.gov/Software/ExcelGeoFunctions/excelgeofunc.htm
I believe it assumes a perfect sphere, so we might need to change the formula, but when you round it, you get the same numbers.
I'm uploading 2 spreadsheets, coords_formula.xls is with the Add-in, coords_values.xls is just with the numbers. If you'd like to update it yourself if the coords update again, just download the spreadsheet and paste (as HTML) the columns back in.
Somebody go to the library and lock yourself away with these numbers. I'm going to play CoH for a while and jump back on tommorrow. (Notice how I don't say libary or tommorrey anymore.)
Good luck!

Let the math die, no I can't! That's right...the streets shall flow with the blood of the non-believers (and a phone booth will be my anchor). Anyway, here's an updated spreadsheet with the cities and times plus the distances. Each time zone is a different color for easier sorting. If anyone feels lucky, check it out. If not, at least maybe you're learn some math (eww...can't believe I typed that).
BTW, someone else posted the cities, but I can't remember who, so thanks!

OK, trout me if need be but . . . here we go:
Those two ocean hits were buggin' me so I played with them a bit and this is what I came up with. I subtracted the new Latitudal number from the old of the 9:23 coord (47.617222 - 37.033333) and then had it converted using the boulter website and came up with 10 35 02. I did the same with the 17:55 coord (47.616389 - 36.983333) and came up with 10 37 59.
Scratching my head I decided to see if maybe the time might have something to do with it.
10:35 = Washington, DC (38.887383, -77.015017)
10:38 = Seattle, WA (47.619722, -122.319167)
Tell me this is coicidence (sp). One right after the other on the list! Are there any other similar changes? I wish I knew what this meant!!

Where's the boulter website? I'd like to try all the originals against even though it's a different amount of numbers.

Does anyone have the original coords with the times? All I could find was the original spider coords. I was wondering if any of the other coords were different. Thanks!

I've been playing with the perl script (to calculate distance) found on a site linked from the blog. I have a list of the distances between all of the locations, and I'm working it into a spreadsheet. Playing around with what I have so far, I found 25 locations about the same distance from the cleveland location (41.51157N -81.60732E). All are between 299 and 304 miles from cleveland. Maybe someone who hasn't been up all night and half the day can continue from here?

Time, time, time. Everyone's so concentrated on the points themeselves that time is slipping under the rug. What is the significance of when each Axon goes live? Has there been a mathamatical look at the possible patterns there? Maybe even in relation to place?

What do you mean by "converted"?
Degrees. Sorry.
