I'm sorry, I don't understand... What's wrong with beer for breakfast? Wink

I think it's funny, I believe we pressured the PMs into making this mean something.

Imho, a good PM doesn't let him/herself be pressured into something... they could well have let us know we aren't supposed to visit the axons by taking one or two decimals OFF the coordinates... instead, they make it more specific, in my opinion in an attempt to convince the skeptics... in that they succeeded, as I am now pretty sure something will happen at these coordinates...

due to the curvature of the earth this wouldn't focus anywhere...., and if you made them all paralell I guess it would send out a beam in the direction you pointed...

Coords linked in order

I've made a quick map of the coords linked in the order in which they appear/time of day indicated. It's pretty much a jumbled mess, but people seem interested in seeing it.

6:16 is also some place whose name the Queen found in Google when she was thinking bee-related thoughts:
it's a small office cleaning business called : Heatherdusters

(geddit? bees? heather?)

6:43 is the company that operates Cardbuzz.net .

Buzz.

(I've got to say - this is fun, all this research, but I have no idea where it's going...)

Yeah, that is hard to read after all. Smile

Other than seeing lines through all 48 contiguous states, there's probably not much we can get from that, visually.

Technically, the Sleeping Princess e-mail from the 13th said:

The Sleeping Princess wrote:
For days the Queen has been ordering her to build the most extraordinary number of little roads out from the castle.

(emphasis added)

Lots of little roads. Plural. So maybe we should connect the dots a different way. I believe there are 13 coordinates that start in Washington, D.C. (and maybe another 6 in nearby VA) but I'm about to step away from my computer for a while and am not able to verify... Maybe we should treat these as "starting points" and connect the dots in chronological order. That would give us 13-19ish spokes out from the starting point.

I have no idea what this would net us, but it might be closer to Melissa's intent.

I think it could still be spokes from either San Fran, or D.C., if there's a pattern in the visual representation at all (which I don't think there is...)

But if there's spokes, I think we should post spokes from ALL 210 locations... so that way, we can see where concentrations of lines lie... Does that make sense?

Something to consider about in-person interactions at these sites is in Florida -- recall Hurricane Charley recently tore through Orlando...where 2 sites are located. Rolling Eyes

The TURTLE reference was supposedly a clue from the SP
The quarter reference was ..you know..to drop a quarter... like at a payphone.

Unfortunately, I visited two of the sites in my area. One is a public library (07:23) and the other (14:35, in the badlands) is inaccessible by car and I'm sure not going there by foot (know what I mean). Not even for dancing robots. No payphones at either location.

hmmm.... the amount of bee related things is quite high, but as yet it's still pretty unconvinsing. Nevertheless keep searching for those bee related factoids.

I notice that the 2minute gap is right next to a 4 minute gap that shouldn't be there. basicly if you plot the times between each thing there it is symetrical with four mintues at the end and three minutes in the middle, with a glitch at 11:00. Whether this is another 'typo' or perhaps a clue I don't know. the glitch doesn't affect the overall times though, or any other times as it cancels out.

This may be a little far fetched, but what about connecting the lines slowly and seeing if, for instance, the first 3 lines form an "A", erase the map, the next 4 lines form another letter, etc.

We might have a message...then again, I don't know how this would fit in-game, but its worth a try. And it may be the reason we have times associated with the points, to give us an exact order.

I don't have the resources to do this right now, otherwise I would.

If San Francisco is the location of "the castle" and you plan to draw the spokes by connecting dots in chronological order, then how would you explain the 52 sites that occur chronologically before the first San Francisco site? And how would you explain that San Francisco is the last site, chronologically? Does it make sense for Melissa (or whatever's being transmitted) to bounce all around the country just to end up back where it started?

I'm not criticizing the concept - I'm honestly trying to keep an open mind and would like to understand others' theories.

Something else I notice is that almost all the large pairs (i.e. paris further apart) are in the centeral 'three minute zone'. This isn't terribly usefull I guess... but cirtainly all the distances involved are smaller at the ends, roughly coenciding with the 4 minute end zones

also to support my flashlight waving theory, doesn't she quote survival books, and I think there is something about waving flashlights in survival books somewhere... (not quoted in game, but in general)
