Well, excuse me! I didn't mean to commit some kind of sac-relig. Just decided to post on the discussion forum about something I thought for a "discussion". Won't happen again!

I'm sorry for thinking we didn't need 5 threads discussing the same thing. I must be mistaken.

We're not asking you to not discuss stuff. Honestly... we aren't. It is indeed the whole reason for this board to discuss stuff relating to the ILB puzzle(s).

However, we do ask that you search to see if the topic is already under discussion... if the discussion is scattered all over the board, then it gets really difficult to follow the conversation. That leads to a whole bunch of wasted effort as you try to find all the information you need to crack the puzzle.

If it is indeed under discussion in a thread, then we ask that you discuss the topic in that thread to avoid the problem I describe above.

We also ask that, if it is indeed a new topic that no one has discussed before and you do start another thread, thread titles describe their contents reasonably well. Part of that is to label what kind of post it is... the HUMOR, QUESTION, META, PUZZLE, OT or whatever tag is appropriate is part of that. Some folks are just here for the puzzles. Some desperately want a good laugh. Some are looking to help others with their questions. The tags help people find the kind of post they're looking for.

Please do contribute, but please contribute in a way that helps us all. This is going to be big, and we need all the help we can get. (And we need to avoid as many obstacles as we can as well, and to avoid making more for ourselves.)
