I fully expect that the PM's will do something to let us know not to go. Seems far-fetched to have a gathering this widespread for an ARG tied to a video game.

I'm no expert in reverse-psychology, but wouldn't telling us not to go just make it more likely that we'll go anyway? Smile

The strange thing about the Atlanta location (the closest to me) is that it's on one of the busiest intersections in the whole city at rush hour! I don't know how that's going to work. Unfortunately I won't be there to find out. I scheduled house repairs for, you guessed it, 9:30am on the 24th.

I'll take the Hyannis, MA one again:

07:27 PDT - -070.289091,41.652214

...when I figure out precisely where that is (if it's different from the last point).

Edit: And it IS different, according to Wishi-san's map.

I can hit the San Francisco one on Geary between Powell and Mason (37.787249 -122.40863) at 8:59 a.m..

NOTE: the location at (37.862998 -122.490357) is NOT San Francisco. It's north bay, near Sausalito.

I can also hit the next SF location at 12:50, at the beginning of Powell St. (37.784899 -122.407931).

Two Burbank, CA locations:
4:03 PM - Media Center Mall (former site of Antique Carousel)
5:15 PM - AMC Media North 6 forecourt

Barring crucial work commitments, I will most likely be at either, since they're around the corner from each other. See you there!

I can get to this one:

17:35 PDT - -122.320556,47.624167 | Seattle, Washington, United States

The Seattle ones are all really, really close to each other (within the same square mile easy, and near my place), but I have too much work to do to take a day off or be sick. I'll try to see if there's a way around that ...

Also, for what it's worth, this location -- 09:53 PDT: 122.171355,47.572018 | Seattle, Washington, United States -- is actually not in Seattle. It's in Bellevue, right outside a mall.

I'll be there!

EDIT: Reverse Geocoding gives the address as "945 Madison Ave" - the exact address of the Whitney Museum of American Art.

I can do the downtown Denver one, or, if that location happens to be really close for anybody, I could do the Broomfield, CO one.

See, Melissa knew that, so she scheduled it when you wouldn't be there! Wink

EDIT - McDonald, I think it would be better if you claimed one or the other... if someone else "needs" that one, they'll let you know...

I may be able to go to the Dallas area locations, but it would mean taking a day off work and a 2 hour drive. I haven't been convinced yet.

I'll see you there. =) Getting a friend with a car to drive me to Wauwatosa is about all I can do. Madison... nnnope.

I have a feeling that since it's the only WI point not in Madison that we'll have lots of company Smile

Volunteering...

(posting this in the CORRECT thread. Stupid multiple widows! >_<)

While I'm waiting for my registration of a few hours ago to get here...

(Hi, first time poster, lurker since MetaCoretechs)

My fiancée and I volunteering to visit the Garland, TX location. While I've been the one following the ilb saga, she was the first one to clue me into the whole ARG phenomea, when she'd signed up for this paid arg game published by... wither Seirra or EA or Some Giant Game Company.
