I'm on the St. Louis locations (7:11, 11:56, 13:05, 14:53) with mediajunkie/LordSaryon. Of course, it depends on what happens at the first one... if by that time we've decided that there's no reason to hit ALL the locations, I won't be taking that much time driving around town.

Ok, well that change officially makes the coordinate in Seattle, WA, not so many miles SW of Santa Cruz, CA...

Ok, everyone please take note of the new list when it goes up then, ok? I want to make sure no one is getting locations they cannot possibly go to, or is not claiming new locations they should go to... (did you follow that?)

Ok, I'll be posting in less than 20 minutes... so look for it.

Dorkmaster:

I'll definitely be at the locations for 9:38, 10:26, and 11:14. And if things are really interesting, I'll hit the other three in Baltimore. But unlikely.

Hey All,

Great work on trying to get this all taken care of, i'm working with one arm tied behind my back as nearly all the sites are blocked for me at work, and downloading stuff isn't much of an option.

Can someone post the addresses and local times of the spots that are still up for grabs in D.C? I work for the gov, and am pretty close by, so i'll be able to sneak out for a little bit to check out at least 1 or 2 of these locations with camera in hand.

I'd love to help out with this, just need a little help getting the info from you guys.

Thanks

Man, I trying to keep my curiosity suppressed, but I'm losing hold. I'm just to big of a Halo geek and needy for anything Halo 2 related.

So Dorkmaster, you will likely see me standing next to you at the Bensenville location come Tuesday at 2:56. Dammit, I'm sucked in.

I will be at the Irving, TX / 14km SW of Carrollton location.

Looks like it's inside the Irving Mall.

Wishing for a GPS locator...any recommendations on how I can close in any better than squinting at the ACME map?

[btw, you guys rock. this is my first post, and it's been a riot to follow this ARG]

Tactical Chunder, all the D.C. points are being manned by Anonymous persons. However, ANY point you want to "back up" in case someone is not telling the truth (not accusing ANYONE, just saying) is great. Those times are at 6:07, 6:39, 8:15, 9:14, 10:35, 11:20, 12:11, 12:56, 13:02, 13:11, 13:14, 13:32, 13:53, 14:11, 14:38, and 15:23 (I'd back up ANY that were close in time, like the 13:02, 13:14 and such... It's up to you to locate those, by looking at the ILB site, or unless someone wouldn't mind helping out with some links.....

Ok, Here's the Phil as of 10:45 PDT. There's more people, and less space, but we still have a long way to go. Let's keep it coming!

Also, I haven't been able to verify all the coordinates yet. I've only gotten to 8:23am... Embarassed So I'll be doing that later in the day, and I will update you if your coordinate has changed. I think we've got em all, but I just want to make certain. Thanks for everyone's help, and I'll see you all on the 24th! buzzkill, I'll really see you that day (Yay, I won't be alone there with a camcorder, frantically flipping through radio stations while scanning the landscape and skies... Wink )

Revealer, have the coordinates changed? Check please, since I've got one confirmed change today since the last update. One point that was in Massachussetts is now in Illinois. (see post above yours)

Yes! They changed a few days ago. They are now:
30.274933, -097.741183
14:41 PDT

They had been changed on the Wishi-san list and I assumed they had been changed on Phil. My bad! Embarassed These new coordinates match the updated maps I sent. Need them again? Also, maybe changed coordinates can be reflected in a different color to draw attention to them? Just a thought.

Pittsburgh, PA locations (and Rankin)

I'm going to try to be at the three Pittsburgh, PA location (two of which are mistakenly labelled as 'Rankin'.

I don't know whether I'll make it to the first two (Rankin, PA), my best chance is going to the last one.

Have you guys seen Dana's lastest blog? It practically invites everyone to go to the locations. Ugh! Isn't there a puzzle here?

I'll go to the 10:05 (12:05 local) in Dallas. I can't resist Dana's call.

[edit: looks like Andy and I decided to give in about the same time.]

Didn't see a post on this, so I'll fill in. 17:39 looks like it's Graumann's Chinese theater. Where they do lot's o' Hollywood movie premiere's, press events. The recent NBC "Joey" commercials feature it - once about the theater and once about the Walk of Fame right in front of it. Huge tourist crowds and actors in costume. But if you want to make an entertainment announcement in LA, that's where you do it. It's also very "Chinese".

I might be able to hit one of the Hollywood sites, but the traffic sucks at rush hour and I won't be in that part of town. I might be able to hit the 10:08 though, if it's serious. I'd have to work it out.
