Well, since no new threads are going up,

Right now, all across America, muggers are getting free laptops from people standing near public payphones.

that goes hot first at 6:07am PDT (7:07MDT, 8:07CDT, 9:07EDT, etc...)

So I'm waiting for keybsnbits and Cortana to report in first...

Sorry to totally rip you off, but it's a good bit, Vicious!

No problem Very Happy

And I'm awaiting sfsdfd's because it seems like he'll be the first to post anything, despite keybsnbits' and *twitch* Cortana's headstart.

I'm not a regular here, but I've been following this thing for a while and was wondering if you needed someone to visit the 11:05 Phoenix site?

2nd Menlo Park location is a decoy

Just a house in a residential area. I figured it was sketchy when I saw the coordiantes both ended in excatly the same digits.

There's a school half a block away if you want to get picked up a stalker tho'...

Berkeley reporting success

0855 and 1150 Locations were successful in giving requested information.

Photos available but not sure if everybody in the shot approves of having their pic on here.

Will be reporting this evening after attending 1559, 1643, and 1527 Locations.

Okota, out.

Ok, so now we have two axon-related questions given this text on about.html:

1) How are we going to get the missed axons covered, and
2) Is there any point showing up tomorrow at axons which already went hot?

Does the fact that she wants to "transmit to [her] crew daily" imply that she's going to call the axons that aren't hot to look for more crew members, the axons that are hot because she knows she has "crew" there, or both? (Or neither?)

OK, I'm "out" as one of the anonymous washington area axon finders. This morning I'm trying for the early Dale City Virginia location for sure. Other DC locations? Unsure. Will probably try for the Arts&Industries one again.

As to the outlying Virginia locations (Manassas and Oakton). If they're not covered by someone else I may be able to track down one or the other this weekend. But frankly THERE MUST BE MEMBERS/LURKERS WHO LIVE CLOSER! Stand up, folks, and go find these phones!

OK, the 9:07 and 11:15 in Washington DC seem both to be on the same phone, and that phone is dead. There is the possibility that they are inside the Natural History Museum, but that does not open until 10 AM. There is also another phone a block down towards 12th street that was noticed until the time had passed.

The 4:02 a few blocks over at the National Archives seems to be off as well, since we waited at the only pay phone near by with no success.

The 4:53 in Georgetown was a success though, and completes the third axon under four__goats.

The 5:35 on H street seems to be in a construction site and is dead, so no success there. So out record is 1 for 5 in Washington DC...may try again later, but there seems to be many people doing it as well, so I may go see Hero as well.

Barnstable/Hyannis

All right. I posted this in the other thread, but this one seems more appropriate (the other one was Cold Axons Take 2).

I've got Alderaad, MattQ, gheritt and my brother coming. squidgee, I saw a post by you earlier this week saying you were planning on going- do you think you might be hitting the axons tomorrow?

I really hope that we're supposed to be in Hyannis, not Barnstable. I'll feel really silly being on the wrong side of route 6a when the time comes. Rolling Eyes

Hyannis is kind of a subset of Barnstable; it's all good. You guys know how to get to the locations? PM me if you need directions.

Barnstable is hot!

Thanks for the directions, gheritt. We were able to successfully make contact at both phones. I'll post the rest in the "Post reports of visiting Axons" thread.

Thanks to everyone involved!
