is that the Austin Minnesota, or Austin Texas location, greyberger?

He has Austin, TX listed as his subject line on that one.

And I really don't believe that the 46.875805 -96.784945 is in Moorhead, MN. Unless the rounding is really messed up using Mapquest, it is still in Fargo, ND. I also used TerraFly and it does show up as Fargo, ND.

And I'm still deciding between the Waite Park/St. Cloud, MN and Austin, MN sites. The times are far apart, and I work that day. I'd miss part of work, so I'm not sure what I'll do yet.

I think I can cover the three Barnstable, MA locations. It is a bit of a drive so I can't scout it out ahead of time, but I think there is enough time between them to hit all three. As a side note, what all do you think we should try to bring to the locations. So far I'm thinking wifi reciever, radio, and camera. And I'm wishing my credit card could handle a ridiculously accurate GPS, but hey, to prevent the apocalypse it may just be worth it.

Also if anyone wants to meet me in Barnstable I figure we could tailgate this event.

I live in Moorhead, MN and I'll take that location. Although its actually plotted to FARGO across the river. If memory serves, it's an AmeriPride store right next to the main bus station.

BTW this is my first post here, ARGs seem lots of fun.

will, Gheritt already said he'd be at the latest barnstable event, so maybe you should PM him?

I'm going to post this in another thread also, but wanted to put it here since I realized something.

Some of these pictures on TerraServer/TerraFly and the others are over 10 years old. So if it looks like something isn't there, that doesn't mean there isn't.

Well, I can easily hit both Longmont, CO locations.

15:39 PDT - -105.103646,40.173882
16:19 PDT - -105.102629,40.155497

Wouldn't be surprised if I see another person there, though, since someone else made a post a ways back about scouting the first location. I guess we'll have to fight over the prize.

I'll be in the area... You'll probably see me at the locations.

I haven't seen anyone claim Clark and Diversey (either spot, and I think I saw them both on the new coordinates list, yes?), so I could conceivably do one of those. Hrm, lemme check that list again.

Ah yes, the Clark and Diversey one looks to be either right in front of the Century Mall building, or inbetween that and the Jamba Juice on the corner, iirc. 2PM or so, Central. Gah.

Or, in front of the Borders Bookstore across the street. Hmm, 6:08 PM for the Borders-looking one. I have rehearsal that night, so I don't think I can make it. I suppose I could leave work early for the first one, but that's a PITA to miss hours of paid work for something that may not even happen! I like these games, but um, man. I also like my paycheck.

Sigh. Color me undecided.

Why don't you take the Clark and Diversey locations, krystyn! I would love to take these, but I just can't being out in the suburbs! Let me know if it's possible, since I'm leaving really soon for home! (sorry they got rid of the Sears Tower location!)

Ill be at the Santa Cruz, CA location with net access (via hiptop, not wifi). There are several payphones at the location, which is an arcade attached to a boardwalk.

Alright, I've gotten up to Eck. (don't worry Krystyn, I didn't "put ya down" for anything yet!) I'm heading out for the night! See y'all tomorrow, and I'll update the spreadsheet then. Until then, here it is:

More Chicago

I can possible hit the Clark & Diversey Chicago site as well - at 6:08 PM I just might be able to get there after work if I hustle. I'll (presumably) have been at the Sun-Times site that morning, so I'll know if there is anything worthwhile going on by then.
