[INFO] Axon Map - Location Pattern Recognition

I work for a GIS company, and in searching for patterns in the co-ordinates supplied from ilovebees, my co-worker and I generated a map detailing all the locations. While we could not descern any noticablte patterns, I thought that I would share it with the community in hopes that others might have better luck.

Green dots represent axons, red dots represent major cities. All points from ilovebees are located in the USA.

Moved to Puzzles Section because it better reflects the content --Giskard

Removed the use of trout --Giskard

Whilst we haven't actualy got anywhere in particular, I think we are past plotting the coordinates on maps.

Thanks for the help, but look around and search the forums/wiki to see what we already know

That's true, but this one is more detailed and more up-to-date.

(I do appreciate the help in trying to clean up the forums, though)

This is good info. Please retract the trout icon and be a bit more judicious in the future before smacking helpful folks with a fish.

Personally, I think it's great that JeffJenkins and his co-worker took the time to create this map and also report back on the fact that there were no discernable patterns to be found... it's nice to have a(nother) professional look at this.

fair enough then, sorry for any hard feelings, I was just trying to clear up what was already known

The problem I see with these high level maps is that whilst it's interesting to see the distributon, the points basicly fall in US cities with seemingly no reasoning due to size, locations, internet networking ( have personaly been checking over this theory in detail, as I rather like it, but most the major networks kind of fit the pattern but only in an arbitary way that taking 50 random cities would)

Once again, obviously I was overenthusiastic with my troutage... (first offence gov'or Wink) sorry.
