[PUZZLE] Ron's Voicemail Password

Since we've already slapped the [SOLVED] tag on the "Ron's Map = phone number" thread (and good job spies on being so quick with the solve), I thought it might be more efficient to start a thread solely dedicated to "hacking" his voicemail system. Sorry, but continued puzzling in a [SOLVED] thread drives me batty. I couldn't find an emoticon of a bat, so here is a pony instead: Pony?!

Post failed passwords and fun SPEC and so on.

Here's what I've grabbed from the other thread. I've also included some random ones I tried myself.

Hate to point out the obvious, but why must his password be only 4 numbers. I have a > 4 digit password for my phone system.

I have 6 digits in my voice mail password. Four is very common though, so it's a good place to start. It seems like there should be a clue that tells us exactly what the password is if we're supposed to figure it out. The journal does seem like a good place to start with that.

I'm wondering if we're really supposed to get in. Maybe he isn't dead, and we have to leave the right message??

yeah, if we are supposed to get in, it's going to be hellish to get through all of the msgs people have left from this game.

This is complete spec, but maybe this "voicemail box" isn't even storing our messages. Maybe it's just logging our numbers for future interaction. Or maybe we are meant to get in but all that is there is a message from Ron or something. I dunno.

it's like a magical unicorn farted a rainbow in my cubicle

Ron had been feeling pretty paranoid since his August 6 e-mail, in which he said, "things have gotten weird" around his office. On August 9, he gave us the webmastertools file and on August 10, he began his lastwishes.com journal. The next day, he responded to his girlfriends, Konamouse and Varin, with the "I MUST WATCH WHAT I SAY' E-mail.
By this time he must have been pretty worried that something might happen to him, so he hid his phone number in the CMH map that was supposed to be sent out if he didn't contact lastwishes by a certain date and time. Assuming he wanted us to access his voicemail, which seems to be the one obvious answer, he gave us the code on or after the tenth. That leaves us to go over anything he touched as of that date:

Urban hunt update
Possible Your Money or Your Wife update
Lastwishes journal entries
Lastwishes E-mail introduction
CMH map (has anyone tried the date the original CMH blueprint was made, 112502, as a possible password)
"I MUST WATCH" E-mail

Here is something to think about:
If all Ron had found were the House of Dread blueprints it would have been pretty easy for TT to confiscate all the "disks," fire him and deny him further access to the building. Sure it might have been odd, but what could Ron prove? The information was less than damning and couldn't really prove anything.
For TT to have killed or kidnapped Ron they must have considered him so much of a threat that they were willing to risk being caught up in any ensuing investigation about his disappearance. This leads me to believe that Ron was able to open one or more disks, which contained some pretty serious crap.
Will a message that he recorded on his voicemail lead us to that info?

Didn't work. Crying or Very sad

If you are gonna provide this SPEC, please explain WHY you think we should try this, and who you are. Thanks.

bad news...the voicemail-box is now full, so now we have to either crack the code, find it out or wait for Ron himself to delete some of the messages...
