[Spec] Waves and spirals

I hope this is not a trouty trout trout. I have seen lots of threads in my searches talking about various parts but nothing handling the whole ball of beeswax.

On the comatas myth page: we have the monologue about finding a voice, and prefering vocalization over other methods of communication. On that page we also have the sound of the seagulls (?) with someone repeating over and over "I love bees"

On the About page we have non-hidden text ("truth, I must be a starfish growing strange new limbs...") that is arranged in a pattern like a sine wave (refresh the page a few times, it will) going down the page. we also have the orange gif links that are also breaking into bars that are arraqnged in a wave pattern. Occasionally on refresh the pattern is a spiral. The pictures are also involved in this too occasionally, either as a full background that is "waved" or in repetitive pictures that form a rough wave.

If the wave is a representation of voice or sound, might the spiral represent an ear? The cochlear portion of the ear that translates sound waves into data a brain understands as sound is a spiral.

So, maybe the princess is asking for an ear to hear?

I've also spotted parabola, oval, and checkered patterns. Not sure how they would fit in though.

i don't think this is trout... haven't seen any threads dedicated to it at least.

i've been speculating on this for a while and haven't found an answer yet, either. to decode the flea/SPDR text there was a distinct path to follow through the website wherein the text was linked to a button that would lead to the next portion, in order.

i wondered if there weren't any other "trails" through the website that might be found using those patterns, but i've been completely unsuccessful so far.

i'm not really sure where to go on this, but i like the idea about speculating (SPECing -- is that a word?) on this some more.

I've not seen anything about this elsewhere either, but some thoughts..

Specifically about the source in 'about.html': Do the patterns have any meaning, when looking at the differences between the numbers in the absolute position elements:

Code:
style="position:absolute; top:188px; left:366px; width:76px;"

particularly in:
Quote:
top:188px; left:366px;

As mentioned above, there are spirals, wave style patterns, etc. Are these clues to the nature of the puzzle, or is there some actual meaning to the difference between the elements?

Could these numbers be put into some kind of spreadsheet, perhaps? Not sure how much number analysis I can contribute personally..

Random speculation, and a first time post, but I'd be interested in seeing if people have thoughts on this.

Just to add a little extra to this. The z-values for the elements seem to be following a wave pattern as well. Values go 2,3,4,3,2. Just an interesting tidbit.
