Does this mean that the Flea is the one making the 'computer code', not he SPDR? (If this has already been said or accepted, I apologize.)

Does this also mean the the Flea is an intelligent agent, unlike the SPDR?

[EDIT] Melissa? Looks more like the Princess to me.

The princess refers to the flea as a bug, I think this may be more than just the obvious "flea is a bug" thing, I'm thinking she knows it's foreign, and knows it's covenant and is playing with it. I honestly don't think this is an internal process like the SPDR, but is foreign code trying to either take over or find something.

Grasping, but I'm think the "truth" that the flea keeps probing for and touting so highly may be the location of earth? Just a thought.

Of course, this is only if you think this is still about Halo of course.

I got hung up on the "handsome prince" bit. I read it as following:

The Flea says that if the princess kiss/attach herself to the flea, he will turn into a handsome prince/cmd proc.

And the Princess obviously wants none of that booshwah.

Now, it seems he just wants to control the princess in the same way that he's controlling the queen. But apparently she's blocking it.

Also noteworthy: This is the first time the flea's been talking to someone that responds like a human, isn't it? Or at least, the princess seems to think that the flea's responding to her question.

I'd guess either the Flea or the Princess came from the artifact Melissa picked up... possibly of the same origin as Halo.

Since the artifact is more like a casket let's call that the Princess and then assume the Flea is a Covenent virus that has taken over Melissa and will eventually broadcast Earth's position to the Covenent (after killing Dana).

That takes account of all the actors way too neatly tho' so I think it's more likely that the Princess is only nice to Dana and us becaause in the long run we threaten Melissa who, if she were in her right mind, is the only real threat to the Princess.

Flea sounds like a smarmy little bastard with pretty promises/words. Sort of like whomever it was they picked up that was hitting on Melissa previously.
