Or it could just mean that the PMs know that some of us think we need to go to the coordinates and that some of us think it's a waste of time.

I don't thnk it is a waste of time, just that I can't get there. Arizona isn't exactly known for wide spread public transportation, at least outside Pheonix, but the closest one to me is in or just outside Kingman, which is around 40-50 miles away, I think.. Unless there are some other people near there, if they used our ISPs to ID where the best places should be, then they missed me by a big margin. The main office for Redriver Net may be in Kingman, but that doesn't mean much considering the sparseness of towns in the area, the difficulty going between them and the large area covered by Redriver Net. I would love to be there, if it wasn't the bloody middle of no place from my perspective. Sad

Exactly my interpretation.

I think the fact that the list was updated with more detailed GPS info is a clear sign that they do want us at those hot spots.

Has anybody actually gone to any of these spots in the flesh yet and looked around and reported back what they saw? Is there a page or thread about that? (Sorry, I'm new, like, today, and I haven't seen anything like that.)

Welcome to unfiction! Very Happy

As far as your question, check out the various related threads in the Puzzle section. Also, the search button at the upper right works well, too. Wink

Hmm

I just noticed that the title of Dana's entry is "Go Hot". I have no idea if that means anything, but with all the debate about hidden messages I'm surprised it was never brought up.

I must always latch onto the obvious explanation: methinks 'tis a reference to "Axons Go Hot" (on links.html). Bolstered by the fact that Dana's entire post is about what might happen on August 24th. Dunno

Tending to agree with Shad0 there. Also, as to people wondering why she's calling the coordinates 'Axons' and not something more mundane... She probably just borrowed the terminology from the site. Like us!
