[WILDSPEC] Widow's Journey allegory - don't brute-force

I was rereading the Widow's Journey and I noticed a funny little allegory/message that might be there.

OK, let's say the Widow is a bad guy. (Evidence being the creepy way she reanimates the Queen by cannibalizing parts from the Queen's dead court) and the Manticore represents a difficult puzzle. (Manticores, like the Sphinx, asked puzzle questions to people).

Instead of the Widow dealing with the Manticore in a better way, she kills him and enters the keep.

So the bad guy just forces her way in, ignoring the proper way of addressing the problem of the Manticore. Likewise, we as players could brute-force our way into a puzzle solution, but in doing so, we would be likening ourselves to the Widow, who we probably don't want to be like.
