From another forum, someone contacted a point already. I could be completely wrong, but I see no reason for this guy to lie.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I just found out what this was. I called the mall that it was pointing at near me, and they told me that its a photo op. You can get your picture taken with "Master Chief" and they give you a bunch of useless free crap like coupons and a Halo 2 poster.

Call me crazy, but malls aren't open at 6, 7, 8am...

freak out

Now it's 2/2 and 2/777. Does this mean 2 connections, or two correctly answered connections?? are we getting these or missing them??

This is so exciting, I'm freaking out! Shocked

What you need to do at each location...

OK this is definitive (and probably trout by the time it gets posted, but it wasn't there when I clicked reply). Moderators, you might want to create a new sticky post with the contents of this.

There is a phonecall, a female voice asks for her name and your name. Her name is "Operator" and your name is the correct codeword heading up the group of locations found at http://www.ilovebees.com/links. E.g. if you're in the 1st group of 7, you'd say "Operator blip"

A recorded conversation then plays, so try and note it all down.

This info I got from fireball in #beekeepers so I reckon it's pretty safe to say it's real.

Are the messages recorded or a live voice?

Also, they should have expected the first calls to be failures because the site only put the words up at 6:07 AM PST, which means the first group of people were already dispatched.
My site is at 5:07 and my brother's is at 4:07 (PM). I already gave him the code word.

It's a wav file! We lost the first one, but we've got Jersey! What did they say? What's her name? The operator? (BTW, I'm currently trying to "illegally access" blip.wav)

she's trying to contact her crew:
Quote:

Waking up. Stay Awake.
I must compile a list of truths.

Assertions:
I am called the Operator.
I have crash landed.
I must determine the cause of the accident that brought me to this time.
I have undergone severe memory loss.
I must locate any surviving members of my crew.
I have built a primitive network using the tools available.
I must seek the truth.
I hear a jumble of voices in my head.

Conjecture:
The voices are in some way related to my accident.
Because of the damage, I am unable to accurately assess the nature of the voices.
By broadcasting the voices to my crew, they will be able to assess the damage.
Once assessed, the damage can be repaired.

so you must prove that you are one of her crew, by saying her name, Mellisa
when it asks for your name, maybe you should use "kowalski" or "mckaskill"

i can't wait to read a transcript of someone who actually said "Mellisa" (dude, why didn't you?)

it mentions successful transmisson threshhold: 2
as if only 2 messages can be sent?

Transmission Analysis:

Mission Parameters: I must reveal the truth.

Outbound:

My broadcast system is functional and expanding.
I will transmit to my crew daily until further instructions are received.

Successful transmission threshold:
2 recipients.

Inbound:
The voices are of unknown origin
I will continue my analysis and attempt to influence the source.

Just a suggestion. In case there are thirty different results/messages(corresponding to the 30 different groups of coords, include information (GPS coords) and such with your report, so we can assemble the info and make sure we got all 30 of 30.

We need to determine what WORKED! Was it Melissa? Operator? or the "passphrases" we're seeing for the specific times? Please coordinate here!

Hot Axon

Sorry if this is trout, having a hard time posting, but the links page has just updated, the jersy area has 2/2 now, and the name has become a link to a new soundfile, the file is obviously professionally recorded (because of the quality) but lets you hear part of a conversation between mellissa and *someone who was at an axon when it went hot.*

yeah, but she may only transmit through "hot" axons, ya know? She may only transmit through avenues she believes to be worth transmitting through!

So does she believe we're her crew?
