Memphis

I met up with some people from XBOXCONNECT and XGAMEFUSION.COM (both are putting up pictures at their sites)
at around 9:30am (our time to be there was 9:51am). There was no phone in our area (but we stayed anyway and hoped........to no avail) so nothing happened at out coordinates Sad .

It was nice to meet others there though, so even if your area is a dud, like ours, you may meet some gamers like yourself and that will make it worth it anyway.

Sucks I didn't get meet you guys, but I feel less guilty for not making the trip to Memphis knowing others did. lol

OK, i know this is totally off topic, but can you or another admin PLEASE activate my accnt?? the e-mail never got to my hotmail account, and it's really beginning to bug me.. Thx. My unfiction account should be Chadwick359.

(pls delete this after its been read, thx ^^)

EDIT - activated, moved, and merged with the OT thread. Just FYI, we have many other forums in which this crap can be addressed. Picking the most recent thread that we start for a specific purpose to whine about your activation isn't the wisest choice if you want your request handled promptly and with smiling sunshiney faces. Have a nice day, and freakin' A, stick to the topic - SG

If My other attempt in posting this shows up somewhere, I am sorry, but I cant seem to see it anywhere in the forums.

I was wondering if the PM might have gotten the names of the Axons/Wav files from the stages of the Single player Halo 2. I am thinking of stage titles similar to Arrival, Wait it gets worse, The silent Cartographer (sp?) etc. They may have taken those names and developed the plot for this ARG around the titles to give us a teaser. Not that I have any proof/basis other than a 3am waking thought, but Just an Idea. Feel free to hit me w/trout!

Re: corrupted files

my apologies if this has been said (im not about to look through 50-someodd pages) but do you all know about the messages in the corrupt sound files (the 3k ones that save as html but open as wav)?

it seems that they have text in them. i cant show it right now b/c I'm on a school computer. Again, my apologies if this has been mentioned,

This is because instead of downloadng the WAV file, you've downloaded the 404 page. It's also the reason that it wont work when you try and play it.

I have no idea if this has been brought up, and it might even get pulled for being off topic, but I had to voice this.

I was just looking on imdb.com for the Halo 2 cast list, thinking that if we could identify the voices we might be able to tell what exactly it is that we have been listening to. In other words, is it in game movie clips? The start of Halo: The Animated Series, etc.?

I also thought we might be able to match some of the names we've heard to in game characters, since they're usually listed with the cast.

Now, what's strange is that while there is a listing for Halo 2, when I clicked the link for the entire cast, the page comes up blank. It's like they don't want us to have that page, and I can only assume that Bungie could politely ask them not to display it until closer to release (and perhaps after ILB has run its course.)

So am I being paranoid or what? You tell me. Here's the link to the IMDB listing: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0412799/
The link for more of the storyline doesn't work either.
