Munk, it looks like one side of your brain doesn't know what the other is doing. At the end of Durga is definitely a tape wind-down -- indicating the end of that scene. Razz

huh

Well damn, how about that.

I guess I just get a little too caught up. I even thought man, what is that sound, is she computing comething?

I guess I just expected it to go further.

Interesting thing I found. When using Mozilla Firefox with the Nuke Anything extension I tried Remove This Object on the black box. I was able to get rid of all but the top section. When I tried to remove it (which I did several) that the font, size, and color changed, and I was never able to get rid of it beyond removing the text which came back when I hit Remove again. Probably just some HTML thing, but still curious.

.wav Files Compiled!

Okay, I've pieced together the .wav files.
I posted these on the Bungie forums but it's so flooded I'm trying to find new places to post. I dont know if anyone has done this already, but I think I've done a pretty thorough job.

You can tell the beginning and end of a sequence by the noise at the beginning and/or end of an audio clip.

The "emergency" clip has nothing to do with the others as far as sequence, as far as i can tell, and is the beginning and end of it's own sequence.

1. Emergency

The most complete sequence is the one i've dubbed "janusary james:"

1.Pqi, 2. Stupid Cop, 3. Yes or No, 4. Hey Dad, 5. Nervous, 6. [unknown]
1. Law Abiding, 2. [Unknown]

Now, there is another sequence beginning with "Law abiding," with jan and J2 in a car, but the end of the sequence is unknown.

I've dubbed this sequence "walkaway girl:"

1. Walkaway Girl, 2. [Unknown]

This may be Janusary James, escaping whatever trouble she's gotten into, but I'm not sure.

The next sequence i have dubbed "melissa:"

1. Dizzy, 2. Escape, 3. Jersey, 4. Reflected, 5. Durga

In this sequence, melissa finds information on Janusary James, which establishes connection, although I don't know if the sequences themselves are connected. This is most likely melissa, and so this is the sequence that we know the most about.

The next is dubbed "spy," and includes a few beginnings and ends. New lines denote the beginning of a sequence, but I ordered them in the order i think they occur chronologically. I'm pretty sure meditape and say something go together because of the "ghosting" conversation. "spy"

1. Meditape, 2. [unknown], 5. Say Something
1. Guilty
1. Tuna, 2. Hi Aiden

This is the right order. It makes sense that she inquires "can you do that with anyone?" at the end of "say something" and then asks him to spy on aiden in "guilty." At first, they are outside up until "guilty", and at the beginning of "Tuna" they walk inside. Listen for the background noise and I think you'll agree. It is possible that Meditape and SaySomething do in fact go next to each other, but it's hard to tell and they don't seem to flow well.

Now, I'm not sure if the dinner conversations and the "spy" sequence go together, but this is what I've got so far. I've dubbed this sequence "dinner:"

1. Our hoodlums, 2. [unknown], 3. Much Lifting

This also occurs at a restaurant (background noise), so I've dubbed it "dinner-radio" as I think it may be part of the same sequence. They seem to have different voices, however, the "beer" clip seems to confirm that they are of the same sequence because of the reference to Coral (a place). "dinner-radio," and "dinner-beer:"

1. Parasites, 2. Eyes
1. Beer, 2. [unknown]

SPECULATION: I think this dinner conversation may be the one that get's spied on, but I can't tell. Since in "Our Hoodlums," they refer to aiden being black market, so then he must not be the one she'd eating with. In "Hi Aiden" however, the girl drops in on Aiden's meal, so perhaps "dinner" and "dinner-radio" aren't related at all, yet "dinner-radio" and "spy" might be related. We need more clips to determine this, I think.

Next is "message saved," which is a standalone clip (not part of a sequence). It refers to Aiden, who gets dropped in on in "spy." The messages are to someone named Kamal. She discovered that her name is "Salene Jefferson" by searching through some sort of audio database. Salene is the girl who gets dropped in on in spy! Perhaps "Hi_Aiden" is the recording Salene listens to to figure out her name?!

1. Message Saved

If I've placed my [unknown]'s in the right places, which I'm quite certain I have, then there are 6 of them, which is the exact number of

clips which have not yet gone HOT or otherwise found. 30 clips possible, 30 clips accounted for (although not all of them yet found). EDIT: this might not be true keep reading.

Dizzy be found on: http://ilovebees.brejningelev.dk/index.php along with a phone recording of four_goats, which seems to be the same guys from "beer," which means a few things need to be shuffled around a bit, because it is an -end- of a sequence, and doesnt seem to fit with beer. Four_Goats may go in the unknown slot after "beer". If not, then perhaps there is a 3rd clip to this sequence "dinner-beer", which would most-likely mean that "Meditape," and "Say Something" go back to back. Another option would be that there is an entirely new sequence, but that would require more than 30 clips, suggesting that another round awaits us. It is also possible that the recorded FourGoats is not a complete clip, and that it does really fit next to beer. We'll see.
Tell me if I'm pointed in the wrong direction.

Order of WAVs on the site as of 9:30 PST August 24th

I didn't realize when I posted this that Kirk had already posted a list, but here's what I came up with anyway:

DIzzy
escape
jersey
Reflected
durga

----

parasites
eyes

----

Beer

----

guilty
meditape

----

our_hoodlums
much_lifting

----

Message_saved

----

Say_Something

Tuna

hi_aiden

----

walkaway_girl

----

emergency

----

pqi
stupid_cop
yes_or_no
hEy_dad
nervous

----

Law_abiding

I'm very unsure about the overall chronology--indeed, I'm SURE some of it is wrong--but I'm pretty sure about the orders within the individual groups of WAVs (though I did change one based on Kirk's list. I think his interpretation of the vague order of 'guilty' and 'meditape' made more sense).

I was going to give this its own topic, but the moderators have (rather understandably) rescinded that privilege from the noobs.

I think you mixed up in a few places, just refer to mine, it even includes the places where other .wav files should go.
Hopefully when we get the last files, we'll be able to figure out just how they all relate to each other.

And yes, it's too bad we can't open up new threads, but oh well. Maybe a MOD will post my analysis in a new thread for me?

EDIT: Any speculation on how dizzy got released? Perhaps the "beefail.wav" proved to someone at bungie that someone who had at least been involved in the ILB thing gave it a shot (although they answered the completely wrong question), and so bungie released it anyway.

four_goats

Kirk, you are still a bit off...go here http://ilovebees.brejningelev.dk/index.php to hear four_goats.wav that someone taped from the phone at the one axon that connected. It's the two guys from parasite/eyes, talking about the date before it takes place.

Actually, I was wrong! I'm not sure what you had in the first place, but here's what I've discovered (I'll also edit my original post):

1. Meditape, 2. [unknown], 5. say something
1. Guilty
1. Tuna, 2. Hi Aiden
This is the right order. It makes sense that she inquires "can you do that with anyone?" at the end of "say something" and then asks him to spy on aiden in "guilty." As for the FourGoats thing, I tried to incorporate that in my edited analysis, but it may suggest that there are more than 30 clips awaiting us.

Masterkirk: You are correct so far - four_goats goes immediately after beer. The quality's bad in four_goats, but in beer they clearly discuss the guy getting his date arranged by his parents, and this is referenced in four_goats. Beer also mentions how expensive the restaurant is, which ties in with tuna.

Just so you can update Smile

MasterKirk:

I think it's clear that "Message Saved" comes before Tuna. We know that Tuna is the second meeting of Jersey and Jan, because of the door opening.

At the end of "Guilty" we know that Jan has asked to have Aiden ghosted or monitored. At the beginning of Message Saved she's received and is reviewing the results of this monitoring. By the end of Message Saved she's decided to take action, resulting in the Tuna -> Hi Aiden sequence.

It's possible there is one more clip between Guilty and Message saved.

Correction to myself:

It's NOT clear that it's Jersey who helps Jan spy on Aiden. It sure sounds like the same voice actor, but Jan calls her new hacker friend "Khamal" twice during "Message Saved".

Important! LONG windup sounds

At the beginning of Dizzy, Parasites, and Blip, the "wind up" sound is twice as long as the windup sounds which begin other clips.

This is a confirmation that those clips start entire new Acts, as opposed to short windup sounds which only begin new Scenes.
