 		[SPEC] Missing sound clip
I'm listening to the sound files now, and it really strikes me that we're missing a clip between "Blip" and "Walkaway_girl". They go from discussing her on the ceiling, to suddenly talking about "special special forces" and suggesting that "her father taught her some moves". Never interjected anything about her father to suggest that the father would know something. Having a transcript of all the files now, I'm pretty sure I'm not just mis-ordering things. I think this is strong evidence that there will be more .wav files (as opposed to another form of transmitted info, for the rest of the story).

 		This conversation really makes me think Sophia is some sort of Agent. Why would you set up a date with a loser on a different planet?

The date was setup for Kamal and I believe for Sophie as well. Their mothers both live on Coral, so the mothers probably knew each other and set things up. Except that Sophie already has a boyfriend, thus the start of the "date", with her apologizing to Kamal. And both of them are on Earth.

Pillow has still yet to be activated.

 		i think we might have jumped to conclusions about the speeding and slowing tape sounds at the beginning or end of each scene.

i slowed the beginning of dizzy and blip down to about 75% the normal speed, and i swear it sounds like a robotic voice is trying top speak.


i haven't messed with it much but i think if we find the right speed/pitch/eq we might find something.

 		hopefully when pillow activates we'll get more to work on, but i really feel like we have to get all 210 calls. please trout me if im wrong, i hope i am, but it seems like we'd need them all just because of that 777 countdown on the top of the page.

I heard a transcript of it, from the one axon that went hot. It was Jan in the hospital, complaining to the nurse that her head hurt. The nurse offers her a pillow, then a cop shows up to take her to the station. Maybe this was a fake transcript though.

It does sound like something but it might just to make the effect of fast-forwarding or re-winding.

It sounds like some kind of distorted vocals, but like you said its probably just supposed to sound like an audio file or tape coming up to speed, I doubt theres any clues in any of these sound effects.

Random thoughts:
-Janissary James is called "The Walkaway Girl" because she "walks away" from everything. Like leaping 30 feet over an electric fence. She's obviously not a "normal" 17-year old girl.
-Jersey Morelli has some kind of relationship with Janissary, otherwise he wouldn't request for "pics" of her from Druga.
-Kamal makes emphatic reference to tuna being on the menu of the restuarant Aiden and Seline Jefferson are at. Why? Is it possible that in
war time (the Covenant/Human war hasn't reached Earth yet, assuming this is the year 2552 and these events are happening between Halo and Halo 2) things
like seafood have become scarce? Or is it that the planet has become so polluted that the bulk of the marine eco-system has been destroyed, making things like
tuna a rare and expensive dish?
-Why is immigrating to Earth something to be smuggled around? Population control?

I belive that is a fake for two reasons. One it dosn't fit all that will with the PQI and drive home contents. Two the version I heard/read siad that it was between Blip and walkaway_girl and the pillow reference was that the speaker's son had her picture under his pillow.

Doh! You're right. I had seen that one somewhere, but completely forgot about it. I'll go look for it.
