No i definitely believe they were all starting at the same time, and some events occur further down on the page but happen quite too soon after the outages.

I have noticed this also, big time. My theory is, they wanted to help and did help when many things were unknown about the game. Now it's obvious it takes place in the Halo-verse and is related somehow to the pending release of Halo2, and they don't like it. Just read the old negative posts from July from alot of heavy argers, they didn't want to hear the word Halo.

 		A Compilation of the recordings
That's right, in my first post I'm going to attempt to do something useful. been following a while but haven't stepped up til now. I have a cleaned up version of all of the soundbytes put together, however I need someplace to host it, since it's a fairly large file (the total length is about 20 minutes, it's a 19 mb file.) if anyone can offer a space where I can send it to them, I'll be more than glad to give it to them, I just can't put it up myself. Thanks.

forerunners.... thats an idea and one not thought of before but i dont know if its likely. I'd say the girl is either a test subject, a spartan 3 or a spartan's child

 		Okay, I woke up about an hour'ish ago. Went to bed on page 60, been catching up to page 87 (probably 90+ by the time I'm done writing this, I'll have to check before posting) since I grabbed my cup of coffee. One of the things I saw people debating about that I disagreed with most on is the whole concept of ghosting. Someone tried to compare it to harddrive-ghosting of current day, but remember, this is the future. I don't think it's anything like that.

In you_could, and just that whole general "outdoor segment", Kamal gives a brief description of it. He's not connecting to a chip in Sophia's head, rather, he's getting it from the 'chatter net/lines' (which Sophia says encrypted). From how things sound, everyone automatically "streams" their voice/what they hear to this 'chatter net' involuntarily, probably for government usage and stuff (think Big Brother of the future). When Kamal refers to her encryption, I think he means the level in which her "stream" is encrypted from the chatter lines.

This would explain a lot of other stuff, as well. Someone (sorry, forgot who, too lazy to look back) had asked why Jersey initially asked if Durga could look up an admiral, then quickly backed down. He even said himself that admirals have "packet guards". I don't think he asked because he "wanted" to look up an admiral, I think he was more-so just curious/surprised that she was even able to (imagine if your computer program suddenly told you that you had access to the pentagon. Sure, you'd be curious if it "could" get in, but you wouldn't want to risk getting caught).

It also explains where all these "memories" are coming from (assuming that Durga is Melissa). These aren't actual memories of "Durga's life before she was an AI", but rather just (not-so) random streams that were recorded. This is why she couldn't look herself up or anything, but she's an AI, she doesn't have a stream. She had to relate the encounter with Jersey from his perspective, because he was the only one in there with a stream to record.

Unrelated spec: rather than Durga causing the power to go out, maybe it was because the power went out that she was able to get into Jersey's computer, and from that moment on Durga started recording all these streams (which supports the idea that all recordings start at the same time).

All together? Maybe it would be better to compile the seperate storylines instead of combining them all as we're not really sure how they relate yet.
