It looks like we've lost "pillow."

Can someone explain to me why people are going to go to the locations tomorrow? Is there any clues to point to this besides the 777 number?

So I lied. I couldn't resist posting from work until the end of the Axons.

Because we're desparately hoping that the times will replay and we can catch the missing .wav files. So do you want to drive down to Waite Park???? You could help us with you_could Smile

What if Jan was the girl Kamal had the first date with in which she left abruptly?

Totally spec, but that would explain why that girl left quickly, Durga (melissa?) can do 'better' than a picture and bring Jan to Jersey.

It would also tie the two threads together.

Possible? or have I not been doing enough work today...The answer is probably yes to both.

This runs until the crew have been contacted to paraphrase the operator, so it will most likely still be achievable tomorrow. Likely. Hopefully. Probably. Maybe. Could be. A Chance.

Hmm. Is it really right to put walkaway_girl before the PQI sequence? The way the officers talk about Jan, it sounds like she's quite notorious ("...they call her the Walkaway Girl"), important, and possibly regarded as dangerous. The interrogation, however, sounds like a routine cop asking some questions of a teenager caught doing something stupid; it's not even very secure, since they let her dad in and mention letting her go home. The real meat in the interrogation seems to be Jan's dodging of the questions and her dad's odd behavior.

Then again, it's possible that this Frank guy in walkaway_girl is some kind of a specialist who was brought in, and before his arrival no one knew that Jan was important. But no, that'd still have to be after the interrogation. Or perhaps the cops don't want to let on to Jan how much they know about her... but that's still no reason for lax security.

I doubt it comes after her, they talk about her being behind an electrified fence, they want her out now, and why would she be jumping off a building AFTER her father comes and gets her?

From what the cop says, they caught her in a high security area, and someone mentions an electric fence.

Also, the MP, Frank, may know of her father, if he is that special, and therefore know of her.

Hey I dunno if this is trout, but someone mentioned that Jan James's father might be a SPARTAN. I think they have the right idea, but what if he's actually an ODST? In the books there aren't any "slang" terms for the Spartans. ODST's, however, are called "Helljumpers." Also, if daddy taught her some moves to survive a 3 story drop, who better to teach her but an ODST? Lastly, the Spartan's were apparently horrible at flirting with Civ's and they were trained from birth so, I don't see when they'd have the oppertunity. Even with eachother.

Yeah the problem with the 'jumping off the building after being released thing' is that she's asked why she jumped off the building during the interview and she says its all a dare etc etc. So unless she has really bad suicidal tendencies then she didnt go afterwards.

What about James, who was a spartan, and I think one of John's closest freinds. He was reported MIA, and could still be alive. (in disguise as Jan's dad) Just a thought.

Problem with WAV's

Can anyone upload all of the current .wav files to a new topic (mods?), because about HALF of them come up with 404 errors when I click them...I don't know why.

Very good point, haven't thought about that.

One other thing - I dunno if its just being sensitive, but I don't think its proper to make people feel guilty if an axon didn't go hot, as lines like "Come on guys, be there" feel to me. Maybe there's nobody there, maybe some random bystander walked by and got it, or maybe its at whatever time a lot of people are at home eating.

LoL, I have class from 10am-3pm tomorrow so it's kind of a no-go. Oh well, at least I helped do my part in Fargo!

Good sign, that law-abiding connected on the first one... I predict it's a file piecing together the walkawaygirl and the pqi.

Yeah but since when have ODSTs been reffered to as SPECIAL special ops, that implies super secret, super effective, super army types. ODSTs are just hardcore marines turned dropship landers.

The reason the SPARTANS were always listed as MIA was for morale. Nobody involved with the project wanted to let on that the SPARTANS could die. So everyone was marked MIA, whether clearly dead or not.

Well she is "The Walkaway Girl". Also, I think just maybe, instead of the "axons" being recalled, I think just maybe there are even more wav files, and more to this story.
