At least one axon is hot on all the rest except for "blip". That means someone heard those clips over the phone!

Both of the Ranking coords are in close proximity to Pittsburgh. I think the second one is right outside of Loews theater, so you could catch a movie afterwards if you wanted. Thats what I'll do if the phone is still ringing come Saturday.

A sense of panic, or she could be lying. It was right after that that her "father" told her to take her hand off the plate. It could just be that they wanted to show she was nervous to see her father, but with Durga talking about his fake identity, he might not be her father at all. What about Jersey's father being the Castaway? That seems to fit in my head. Any reactions?

PLEASE trout me if someone's already posted this all up - but with over 50 pages of stuff to read, you can understand my predicament.

i've managed to put together pieces here and there - the Interrogation is what we have the most of so far.... So the order (maybe not overall, but what we have so far) is:

why has nobody been talking about the phone call the person got that asked if there was a person with the last name of (i think) jefferson there? or the person who recorded the 4 goats file? the jefferson thing was celines last name, and the person calling wanted to know if that person was there. again, i didnt go back to check, but this has been bugging me for a while that only one other person seemed to find this important. and the 4 goats file, it seems like we could work with it.

I'm new to the ARG world, but have been following ILB for quite sometime as I am quite infatuated with all things Halos.

Sorry if alot of this is trout, but I wanted to post my take on the whole thing... My belief of the entire story line is as follows. Sorry for the huge post, but I hope I can put a different perspective on things.


Storyline Part One:
Characters:
Hiroyuki- Unsuspecting ordinary computer user
Genie- His computer's Standard AI
Durga (Possibly Melissa)- Obvious Rampant Self Aware AI
Hiroyuki's Friends- Self Explanatory
Story:

Not sure that this is where we start but I think a good guess is with Beer.wav. Hiroyuki walks in after a horrid date. He asks for a beer on his way to his room, but lets slip that he has another date soon. One that his mother from the planet Coral arranged for him.

Hiroyuki is sitting at his computer chatting with a friend when the communication goes down. He asks Genie what is going on. She tells him another AI is in the system. The AI says she feels dizzy and woozy. He thinks that he has just recieved some type of spa and asks Genie to erradicate the unwanted solicitation. Genie begins to, but Melissa obliterates Genie before she had the chance to do so. Melissa says that Genie tried to "sting" her so she had to defend herself.

Hiroyuki is confounded. He starts asking the AI questions which lead to peculiar answers. She seems to know more about him and his family than he does himself. He asks about one of his neighbors and she supplies him with quite a bit of information. He asks if he can see pictures, she sas she can do better than that.

Part Two:

Janissary James (Possible Impostor)- Hiroyuki's Neighbor, Daughter of James James
James James- ODST
James James- Impostor
Interrogator- Ummm interrogates...
MPs-Spotted and restrained Janissary

Janissary was spotted by some MPs climbing a building and jumping over an electrical fence from 3 stories up. She needs no medical treatment, they bring her in for questioning. Melissa shows Hiroyuki a live holographic feed of his neighbor having a lie detector test administered to her at a military installation.

The interrogator is quite aware that she is lying and beating the detector, though there's not much he can do about it. Her father whom Melissa has said is currently deployed on a far off planet comes in to try to protect her from the interrogators questioning. When she says "Hi dad." the detector pings. This leads me to believe that he is definitely an impostor and she possibly is hiding something as well... but what? I'll get to it later... He trys to get her to stop the questioning, she says she can handle it.

Fast forward to the car ride home, the big thing here is James James Impostor says that there are some kinds of trouble they can't get in. Pretty much stating they have to keep a low profile... Definitely hiding something.

Unheard: Hiroyuki is astonished and coins the term Ghosting to describe what Melissa does.

Part Three

Characters:
Hiroyuki- Armed with a portable computer with Melissa installed on it and an earpiece
Sophia- From the Planet Coral
Aiden- Sophia's cheating boyfriend. Has also either intentionally or unknowingly been smuggling covenant disguised as human beings onto Earth... (dun dun DUN!)

This parts timeline is fuzzy for me. I think there are still a couple of wavs missing. In any case. Hiroyuki goes to dinner with Sophia. He is ghosting his friend using an earpiece to hear audio from his friends location so he can help during the date. Sophia talks about her boyfriend Aiden and his shady background. This is the reason she can not tell her mother about him, and agreed to go on the date with Hiroyuki. Trying to keep up appearances and all you know... Anyway, after a great dinner he decides he wants to ditch his friend on the other end of the earpiece... she goes to the bathroom and he makes up a story about how he totally bombed with this girl too. Says he talked about intestinal parasites with her etc. Anyway, she comes out of the bathrooma nd they proceed to go on a walk. Hiroyuki wants to impress her so he whips out his computer and starts ghosting her right in front of her. She is amazed. She sees and hears herself talking on his computer. She immediately realizes the possibilities. She confesses that Aiden has cheated on her before and suspects him of doing so again. She asks for Hiroyuki to ghost Aiden for a while and send her the information he finds. He accepts.

Intermission:
Characters:
Hiroyuki's Answering Machine- They still have em in the future...

Hiroyuki has three new messages and 7 (bungie and their fixation...) old messages. The first unplayed message is Sophia. She is thanking Hiroyuki for the information he gathered and sent to her. She wasn't expecting 30 hours of it but is very pleased nonetheless. Message two, Sophia again, this time about to ask how to performa search through the info. In the middle of the message she figures out how to do it. She searches for the voices of women in the vicinity of Aiden during the thirty hours. Message three... guess who, Sophia again. In tears. She is very distressed and would like for Hiroyuki to ghost someone for her. She gives him the name.

Part Three:
Characters:
Hiroyuki- Stuck in the middle of a love triangle
Sophia- Insert Jerry Springer title that says, "Just found out boyfriend panets away has been cheating on her... again!"
Selene- Aiden's new fling thing
Aiden- Possibly has an STD

Sophia comes over to Hiroyuki's place. She is there to see Hiroyuki ghost Selene and Aiden. Selene and Aiden are at a restaurant and when they meet, Sophia decides to interfere. Melissa is capable of sending a voice to any place in space. Hiroyuki sets it up so that Sophia will sound like she is standing between Aiden and his new lover. She tells him in a blatant way that "If you wear lose pants and continue using the cream your doctor gave you, the sores will eventually go away."

OWNED!

There are two clips that I can't place yet. Four Goats I presume is Hiroyuki's friend talking with him about Sophia and the arranged date that's about to go down. And Emergency which seems to be the beginning of the covenant invasion, or at the very least an attack on the installation janissary was just being interrogated in. It also features a 911 AI that has a similar sound to 343 gulty spark.

Long story short... this is obviously backstory of two major plotlines in Halo 2. An AI that goes rampant. And a covenant invasion. most surprisingly to me, it seems the covenant have been on Earth for quite sometime prior to the invasion.
