The sirens and pager sounds from emergency sound the same as those in walkaway girl. The voice definitely doesn't sound like the cop that was interrogating Jan, at least to me anyways. But it does sound good to be a fire to burn the evidence after her arrest.

This thread is the least well-put-together so far. Best guesses:

How these three threads relate temporally to one another, I've no clue. We also have yet to show a relation between the Jan/Jersey plot and the Dating Game.

My only suggestion Lazarus is to make it Jersey and Durga. I don't think we have enough information to show that it is Melissa, although it does sound like her from the bees.wav and those sound clips.

"Durga": An AI without a name, Jersey calls her Durga. Incredibly striking resemblance to Melissa
Jason Morelli: Jersey's father, a signalman in the Navy, has been away for over a year and a half
Bonita Morelli: Jersey's mother, a waitress who's been having an affair
Simon Brown: The man Bonita's been seeing while Jason is away

Janissary "Jan" James: A teenager with far too much intelligence for her own good, she attempts to break into a military base
James "James Squared" James: Jan's father, apparently part of SPECIAL special operations in the military. Not pleased with Jan's antics

Kamal: A lonely medical resident and part-time computer jock; not particularly lucky in love
Hiroyuki "Hiro": Kamal's friend, roommate, and love advisor
Sophia Bosseneau: Set up by their mothers on a date with Kamal, she really already has a boyfriend
Aiden: Womanizing bastard who has been seeing at least two girls, including Sophia
Celine Jefferson: One of the girls Aiden has been going out with

Hiro?: Is there a price for being set up with a handsome medical resident?

Kemal?: Yes: four goats. Okay, maybe three.

K: Of course I'm joking, you moron!

H: What's her name?

K: Sophia. Sophia Bossenau.

H: So much for dates arranged from forty-two light-years away. I'm sure she's got a great personality.

Whoops! Figured I'd forget one.

So, now we have five gaps... and five missing waves.

I can be happy with that until it gets messed up by the actual files

A couple things to consider. First, the caller in emergency.wav says "Paris 23" police station (where I assume Jan was being questioned) in Bergen County is on fire. Bergen County is in New Jersey. Connection to the character Jersey?
Also, one of the alarms in emergency.wav that fades in and reaches its stable volume after about 12 seconds, I recognize. I think it's an alarm on the Pillar of Autumn near the beginning of Halo.

And I realized that when Durga says "I can do better than that," to Jersey's request for pictures of Jan, she might then feed him all of Jan's storyline's audio, maybe more. If not that, I can't figure out why Jersey's storyline just kind of ends. And of course, what's the Jan/Jersey connection to the Dating Game?

I still think that walkaway_girl comes at the beginning of the Jan timeline, and she got caught and that's why she had to take the quiz. That's my thought.
