This is the same flavor as you used in your original post.
You know that there are 8000+ people visiting these forums.
Some of them would like to be part of this yet lack the neccessary skills.
Some don't know how to deconstruct/reconstruct .wav files.
Some don't have the time to be the first to notice Dana's new blogs or
some embedded text.
Most of what this group finds is only accessible to them throuogh these
forums.
That's probably why interactions like the axons were designed in the
first place. They give everyone a chance to contribute.

All I'm saying is to look at what we have so far and keep focused on the various clues around 'two' (plus of course the "damage assessment" that we have yet to do) rather than sitting tapping one's fingers waiting to collect a whole set, something which -- since phones at some locations are simply not ringing -- might not ever happen
Yes I agree. As a matter of fact, that has been the point the whole time.
There are too many people working on .wavs, text, and completing "2"
axons already and I don't understand why the other 7000 people can't
try and focus on things that they can prove or disprove now while they
wait for the others to analyze our current data.
For a second, imagine that there could be additional info that could be gathered now. We could be finding it. Why should the rest of us be
waiting for others to tell us we are missing it when we could already
be looking for it?
If I can get 2 people to finish a set of axons now and nothing happens,
we'll know it's not important.
If something happens though, we'll know that we have more work to do.
Oh yeah, I've been here since we were in phase 1 and don't you worry
I'm not offended by your implication that because you don't agree with
me that I must be some latecomer schmuck who doesn't know anything.
Let's agree to disagree, shall we, and just drop it?

Crikey. Was that whole thing in bold?! (I have everything turned off in my browser, so fortunately I can't tell. If so, I do apologise -- or perhaps on behalf of whoever 'shepra' is -- for indirectly blinding other members of this forum.)
At any rate; it's totally not a case of disagreement, you are once again totally missing my point, and going off on your own soapbox tangent about it, and I'll be (carrying on as I have been so far) spending my time actually working on the puzzles and contributing what I can rather than getting into this sort of ridiculous dead end of a discussion. Start a [SPEC] What will happen when we get a set of 7 axons? thread to absorb your energies, if you want to, but I'll be employing my grey matter elsewhere for now.

Yikes! I don't want to get in the middle of anything, but, like Sherpa, I'd like to get the puzzle moving. My thoughts are based on
Quote:
Outbound:
My broadcast system is functional and expanding.
I will transmit to my crew daily until further instructions are received.
My spec is that we need to respond in some fashion, not just answer every axon, especially because (and I know this is trout)
Quote:
Successful transmission threshold:
2 recipients.
Plus the home page still says transmitting, which means until she receives something, she's going to keep going. How can we get her a message and what should it be?

The code on
http://www.ilovebees.com/honey.html
Is 100 sets, which state:
!init transmit proc
!transmit truth
Seek the truth
Behold the truth
Reveal the truth
That is the law and the whole of the law
Is there any way to send code back? And what would the significance of 100 be? I would have thought there would be 210 codes (one for each one picked up or 210-104 (current axons hot)=106 or something.

Does anyone else have the feeling that when all 7 axons go hot in a group, maybe it will reset and we work for another audio clip?
Just a thought

People have thought of that. What a horrible thought and lots of additional work now that we have the wav's.
Anyway, what state does the site go into after the day's broadcast is done? Shouldn't it go from transmitting to receiving? Maybe I just disproved my previous post about sending it commands.

I wish there was a way to figure out the primitive 'chatter protocol' because I don't know if the communication would be e-mailed based throughout this exercise (plus the Princess seems to have control over the hotmail account).
When the Queen mentions 'chatter', she seems to be referring to telephones, but how were the calls placed? IP Telephony? Does anyone know how that works?

How would you 'dial' an IP address though? Could you try and dial the IP of www.ilovebees.com?

basically, you call using your modem, the internet does the whole long distance thing and travels to a place... a beautiful happy place (dont know what its called) and gets transformed from digital to analog, then runs along normal phone wires to the destination....

This entire puzzle is still active and has had layers.
GPS coords to phone calls to .wav files.
I think that with all the people here now we have more than enough
man power to check each and every angle. Imagine if we were all trying
to edit the .wav files? Those threads are so huge it's scary.
Anyway, "Escape" has 6/7 axons hot.
marq if you can make it to the 15:19 in NC that would finish it off!!
The weekend? If you could possibly pinpoint the day I would appreciate
it. I need a reason to wait at my keyboard tapping my fingers.

Well, there's at least one reason that it couldn't hurt. All of the groupings were successfully at 2/2 after yesterday's cycle. Today, more axons went live.
If the magic number was 2, the calls should have stopped, with some sort of update stating success, or at least something implying to stop trying.

something to stew on... so i looked at the ILB website today and the co-ordinate page has a bar with a fraction at the top of the page, right now it's at 111/777 for the 111 axons that are hot. It has been slowly going up and the bar has been filling over the past few days.
If there's only 210 sites. how do we reach 777? The only possible way is by getting bonus points. Possibly by getting all seven axons in a cluster to go hot it will give bonus points on the meter and bonus information to us.
just a thought. seemed like a connection nobody has really made.
