[Info] Altenative for Axon Hunters (edited)

Some of these threads are out of control so, I don't know the details of
each and every cold axon. The only one that has been cancelled, though,
seemed to be a situation where to much trouble would be caused by
attempting it.

Other axons that are seemingly "impossible" have not been cancelled so
let's try a new approach.

In Seattle, the Harvard Ave. axon seems to be in a secured apartment
complex. Even if a beekeeper gets in, who's to say that some of the
phones could not be located in a residence? There was an axon on a
McDonald's business line. Remember some axons appear to have no
payphone at all.

In the case of the apartment complex, print up a brief explanation
of what's happening (ask for help and state that following instructions
will stop the calls) and post it on all entrances.

When the location is less obvious, blanket an area with posted material.
Shove it in the newspaper bins outside of homes. Or walk down the
street with your friends, waving it while you all shout "I Love Bees"
in different tones and speeds.

With 80 axons still cold we have to get creative.

Edit: As per sherpa's suggestion I have attached a wordpad
doc that you can print and copy.

Hasn't this sort of thing been discussed before over in the Axon Coordination forum (where it belongs)?

At any rate, it seems a whole lot of effort for increasingly diminishing returns (and there's a significant proportion of the 80 for which this won't work, read through the cold axon thread for why). Maybe to help streamline that effort you could work on the explanation people should print out, or write a script for people to use if they call the phone number in advance to explain -- rather than just telling people what to do.

After all, every little helps Smile
