[SPEC]Similar moral conundrums of Dr. Halsey and Capt Greene

This is describing a connection between the ilovebees.com game and the Halo universe.

In two of the books that are part of the Halo mythos, Fall of Reach and First Strike, Dr. Halsey is described tackling a particular moral problem: whether it is right to sacrifice some for the good of the whole. She faces this when deciding to start the Spartan project and when deciding what to tell ONI about Sgt. Johnson. This lesson is also discussed in a number of other places throughout the book.

The same moral problem is being debated between Capt. Green and Lt. Sorenson in part of the embedded text from ilovebees.com. He must decide whether to order an evac of Troy, even though doing it might tell the Covenant that we're spying on their communications.

This problem is a persistant thread throughout the Halo universe and can even be seen in the purpose of the Halo itself. The Halo is designed to rid the entire galaxy of sentient life in order to prevent the release of the Flood. The Forerunners apparently believed that it would be all right to kill so many, for the greater good of the universe.
