Hi!

This was discovered pretty early on in the game. You can essentially put ANYTHING in that subdomain location and have the same page come up. It started with evanchan.ilovebees.com and then spec'ed into 50 million other things.

Here's a post talking about this phenomenon

Just FYI, I've seen one of the error pages, too, as they were updating to "wide awake and physical" -- the site's almost certainly not running a standard web server, and it's definitely written in .NET.

This makes all kinds of sense, 1) seeing as the URL's aren't case sensitive (so it's gotta be Windows), 2) also you don't get 404 pages for false directories [url=http://ilovebees.com/fake/one.html], just a blank <html><body></body></html> page, and 3) as you've mentioned, all third level domains point to the same target (currently). All that said, I suspect all this is 100% out of game...

unless you can find hidden directories based on the fact that they'll give 404's. Wink actually, that could be damned usefull... hmm. maybe that's why they're not using any sub-directories... tricky. Twisted Evil

Ok, I know this is stupid, but I found it odd that your link went to a post about james2 ... since one of the characters is james james...

Ok, back to regularly scheduled programming.
