[SPEC][TRIVIA?] Connection between ILB and a Halo Easter Egg

In Halo, if you entered your name as ".fortune" on the profile screen, you would receive one of 10 random fortunes/messages.
They were:

    * All your hard work will pay off.
    * Everything lies in silence.
    * If anything just cannot go wrong, it will anyway.
    * Nature always sides with the hidden flaw.
    * Never wear your best pants when fighting for freedom.
    * Rest is good, but idleness is its brother.
    * Smile when you're ready.
    * You cannot fall off the floor.
    * Your luck is about to change.
AND
    * I like beans.

I LIKE BEANS. Is that connected with:
I LOVE BEES ?

Interesting peice of Spec....but HIGHLY unlikely...not everything has meaning behind it...for example... IMDB on dana's blog sounds like I am dee bee...more precise... I am the bee...that was just something i thought of on my free time because lord knows I have alot of it...

While I'm certainly not asking people to stop speculating, I'd like to comment on this post, because I think that when you try to connect everything with everything else, you just end up with one big umm... interconnected-everything.

Like Tank8131 said, not everything that sounds or looks remotely like something else is connected. And even if in this case there would be a connection, then what exactly would it be or rather, what would the significance of this connection be?

Again, I'm not saying people shouldn't spec, but I do think it's wise to take a moment to think about what your spec actually adds to playing or understanding the game...

The significance is that the website title is similar to a Halo easter egg.

The connection is the significance.

While it certainly IS interesting, I'd have to say no on that one...

As we all learned from Metacortex, not everything is a puzzle!

And why do you feel this connection is significant? Because it it adds to our knowledge of the story background? Because it adds to our ability to solve a puzzle? Because it is a puzzle? Because it adds to the fact that ilovebees might be Halo related?

Come on... a line in Halo2 that reads "I like beans", that sounds remotely like the name of a site were all puzzling over, suddenly means there is a connection? What did the PM's do? Play Halo, saw the line and thought, "hey, let's name our site after that, only make the emotion stronger, and hey, we hate beans, so lets make it bees. Bees are much cooler!". Uhuh... even if that is exactly what really happened, it would be of no use to us because we can't DO anything with it, right?
