Dude if you are that close.... Then please go. Most of the newer players to this game would have never thought to change the url address manually. We've known about the receipe 3 address for awhile. Since, it seems this is the only site that has caught on to this, Then I would strongly recomend that you try and help us out.

Please and thank you

Location: Far Far Away. Nowhere Near You. Really.

I will be taking another shot at the new DC location this afternoon - checking the payphones up the block on 17th street from the coordinates.

After that, although the timing will be tight, I will be taking another shot at one of the Dale City axons. Because I am unclear exactly which phones IvanLeopold and his buddy covered on their attempt last week, I am starting with the phone inside the exterior door of Nordstrom Rack (phone works, accepts incoming calls). That appears to be the closest phone to the coordinates. If that fails I will probably try the one outside the mall entrance next to that store - the phone does not ring but it does receive the calls (the old "pick it up every 10 seconds around 13:50" routine). If someone else shows up to help, I may deploy to the phone outside the Ruby Tuesday, although it's quite a bit farther away.

Re the morning axon in Dale City (8:19 PDT), failed again on the Chinese restaurant phone. Folks in the Bob Evans (the last close phone) said they did not hear the phone ring, but there's a door in between so they may have missed it. The only other option, way down the plaza near the Hobby Store, works (it rings when you call it) but you don't actually connect; it may require money to actually receive a call. And it's so far from the coordinates... I think I'm trying the Bob Evans next. But not sure when that "next" will be, since I don't think I can do it tomorrow.

I live near Berkeley, and by God I'll have to drive down to LA if we don't get Troy today...

Oh well, looks like 'hello' was missed again.

Except the page stayed green for about 2 minutes, so maybe they were trying and it just wouldn't work.

The page keeps going green at the correct times. (We believe this means that it is calling at those times, in case you didn't know.)
Of course it is going green for Axons that are already Hot.

I didn't even catch that. It must be set to a script at specific times (and now it's white again).

Sorry, but what do you mean?

[EDIT]
Ah wait. . you mean when the background graphics reverse themselves? Sorry, it's just that on my monitor it shows brown, so I got a little confused.
[/EDIT]

Somebody noticed it was happening, and other people have been watching the page to see the color changes and the correlation. It does seem to be there. The computer could be calling and the page is set to a script along with it like you say.

If you go to the Fun Stuff page on ILB, the page goes green every once in a while and stays that way for a minute or two. There seems to be a high correlation between the calls and the green background on the page. It also happens on recipe3.html when that is being called. It does take about 30 seconds after going back to white that the .wav is posted though.

Edit-Maybe it is a camo/peasoup green and that's why it looks brown.
