About McBee..I found this:

"McBee Enterprises operates a McDonald's Restaurant franchise in West Bridgewater"

So that may be why it said McBee Enterprises on top of the receipt ..Also, this could have some meaning or it could be coincidence

Looks like 'hello' was missed again.

Good luck with 'troy' in a few minutes, whoever went.

Hang in there, DC group, I know you'll get it.

I wonder if they'll (she'll?) change the location of the axons if they think that perhaps the payphone isn't working. I'd hope at least that a nearby phone would be chosen - it would REALLY SUCK to have those who worked so hard in DC to get it yanked away from them to a different city.

Any word on what happened in DC?

DC: I was there. I didn't see anyone because i thing i got the wrong phone. I was conspicuous (wearing a shirt saying "Hello. I need to talk to the Operator") and waiting. Around 3:20 I left.

Sorry I missed it guys.

Aliendial, ?oliver? and myself located the DC phone yesterday, but the system didn't like our (correct) answer. ?Oliver? was going to revisit the site today... Way to go and thank you! Successfull or no, I certainly appreciate the effort ByronHulcher; that shirt sounds funny and I'm sorry I missed it.
FWIW, the correct phone is the street-side payphone of a verizon double-phone kiosk outside of a Potbellies sandwich shop on 17th, just north of the Pennsylvania avenue intersection on the west side of the street. It is not the payphone inside the Smithsonian Gallery accross the street.

Oliver was there today, and he heard the clip!! I talked to him about 10 minutes after. What happened? I think this is a tease. (Not by Oliver but rather you know who) I'm gonna call him. I guess this means one more trip. I'm not sure I should do it, since Melissa has been dodging me in Dale City, but let's change the voice up and see what happens.

Hey guys, I'm Oliver that aliendial was talking about. I went to the phone today and responded correctly with Operator, this time waiting till a bit later to respond. It worked, and I heard the audio clip and then the endless "ilovebees". But I come home and the axon still isnt hot! Anyways, I can't make it there tomorrow because of a dentist's appointment, but aliendial and chappy are going there to try with a different voice. I'm sorry if you guys are getting angry, but we've tried really hard, and I've biked at least 25 miles uphill mostly in the past 2 days, and I'm getting sick of finding dead phones...my success rate is now 1/7. So if it works, that's really weird, but I'm just letting you know that all of us in DC have been working hard to comb the downtown area over for payphones, so just be patient for us, there are so many its hard to get to (and especially find) them all.

I think that what i'm writing is already been wrote, but:

I think that most axon is not got because you need a GPS with you.

I do not think that the maps on sites are very exact.

And remember that the gps have an error of 10/30 meters (33/99 feet)
because the GPS is a military and GPS with less error are very
expensive and they are for build tunnels, bridge, ecc.
to have better success you need
more people with GPS and extimate the exact position.

If the payphone is broken, and you are sure that is the correct phone
you should call to telephone company to repair.

No I am not buying a gps unit. I have invested more than enough gas and personal time in supporting the finding of about 15/21 axons in the DC area. Melissa will have to find working/not missing phones to replace those we cannot do for her, and also find other players to connect cuz I'm done after re-doing the DC single axon today.

hi no to be picky because EASTERN WASHINGTON STATE :que hipnotic music send to bungie: has yet to see one axon. Grrr or is it Arg anyway you mentioned sayign oporator which is correct however it is only half correct you need to provide the password for your axon and say "hello" and as far as other observations the only audio you mention hearing is the I loe bees stuff which is what happens when you get it wrong sure the oporator talkes to you to try and identify you but this is not an axon audio file it is just to identify you. It is the same for every axon. so please respond to them "oporator and hello" there is video of a sucsesful gorgia oporation on the home page of argn web site. also don't say continue till everyone at your site gets to listen like in the video if you say repeat everyone can here it.

Ps. to bungie pls send an axon to the tricites (kennewick richland pasco) in washington many avid gamers are here and would like a shot.

um... I'm with reigh... I think. (It's like listening to Boomhauer or whatever his name was on "King of the Hill" (Actually, it's quite funny to read this post and picture it in his voice...) But Oliver, while I believe you did what you were told and believed you were supposed to do, did you hear the actual "beginning" clip, or just stuff that fit what everyone else told you? Anyway, I think that's what reigh was trying to say. Or did say. Orsaidveryfastwithoutregardtopunctuationorspelling.
