Of course, it shouldn't have been that hard to find a phone in Keystone. There's probably only one there.

You, sir, exagerate only a little.

Well, it's probably been 5 years since I've been as far south as Keystone in SoDak, but I wasn't recalling all that many payphones in the area. Very Happy My visits generally are restricted to Sturgis, Rapid and Sioux Falls.

I agree completely. I was referring to the timing. Since she just debunked him, she is not likely to yet be working for him.

Axon hunting only here! We have separate threads for discussing the clips we get as a result!!!

recipe 3

Since chaotic_mind was so successful at lobbying for an axon in South Dakota, I'm going to WHINE until they move one of the cold recipe3 axons to WEST SEATTLE.

I'm sick to death of street people and panhandlers.

Man, I guess I DO come off as whiney.

To tell you the truth, until I got to the axons, I didn't think *I* had anything to do with it. I thought it was someone else associated with the ilovebees phenomena that I didn't know about.

After all, I think I mentioned to Dana (back during her axon drive) that I didn't have an axon nearby, but if one showed up, I'd be there. Didn't ask, just a heads up that I couldn't help.

I looked over my sent e-mail to see if I actually asked/begged and surprisingly...I can't find it. I knew that I really wanted to, but figured begging wouldn't endear me with the PMs.

The thing is...if I did ask through the snorlison at yahoo address, there would've been only the signature (Luke P.) I use at the ends of e-mails and posts to connect me with my chaotic_mind identity here. And it was only on the forum that I mentioned that I was at South Dakota. So, the connections get rather tenuous, especially for busy PMs.

So, yeah, it seemed rather odd to me when it happened.

I don't know, maybe something in my correspondense struck a cord with a PM, so they started to look into me. Dumb luck if it did.

As Jersey would say, creepy.

So, yeah, I figured another axoner asked for the South Dakota axons. But no one besides me and those I drug along with me ever showed up at the axons.

So in all honesty...I have no idea how I got the PMs to place an axon in SD. Or why you get one placed in West Seattle.

Dunno All your base are belong to you. You're milage might vary.
You're on your own.

Luke P.

HI HI !! Smile

english_longbow has troubles. the phone has been brutally vandalized the receiver is missing. and i cant say it looks as if anyone minds letting it be broken.

http://www.livejournal.com/users/skotte/7596.html

details. pictures. et al. *sigh*

whats worse than no axons in your area?
no WORKING axons in your area!

although then again, it would, at this point, be really anticlamactic to just walk up to a phone, say hello, and walk away. how crazy would that be! like, arent all axons supposed to be arduous labours and mad plights?

Good lord, luv, I didn't mean that you whined. I didn't even read any of your posts regarding getting the axon moved. I was just threatening to whine to scare the PMs. (trust me, you don't want to see me whine...it's not a pretty sight) I admire whatever it is that you did to get that axon moved to your neck of the woods and want to have similar success.

PMs: Cuz honestly, West Seattle is a nice place. Quiet...hey we even have an Easy Street! I'm thinking...Admiral District. Ain't no street people there.

Wow, Scott - thanks for stepping up! Yes, a message to the SP at ladybee777 is probably the best way to communicate the problem. (Remember these are the bits the SP stole for us and hid on recipe3). Not sure if she's in any condition to DO anything about it now, but hey what's a little plot hole among friends?

the_labyrinth - UK - all reasonable possibilities exhausted, we await improved coordinates

english_longbow - Vermont - demonstrated to be irredeemably broken and covered in bird poop, to boot. Again, hoping for improved coordinates, maybe somewhere near Scott in Rochester who drove all the way to Vermont to nail this sucker. Wink

Vector pointed out that we could have been using a different GPS datum than the PMs. This would have put the handheld unit that Adrian used up to 100 meters off of the position the PMs intended. If nothing has changed by Saturday, I will be going out with a GPS unit that can switch datums.

I'm curious also, from what Scott said, it looked like there was no chance. Anyone want to own up to lighting it up?
