 		[SPEC] Jan's fable axons come BEFORE her links axons
oh man!

axons on fable.html
specifically, the ones starring Jan

take place BEFORE she steals the razorback!

listen to domestic_skills, she tells her father that she needs to go out, because she promised "the guys" that she would meet them, James doesn't say anything about being grounded or being in trouble from before, so she leaves... that's what leads us into her breaking into the motor pool

which means that those guys meeting her in the pool hall HIRED her to break in and steal a razorback... 'babysitting' indeed

good spec?

Clever idea, but I don't buy it at all! First, J^2 did talk about being grounded before (in the first set), and cautions Jan now about "staying close to base", probably because of her earlier transgressions.

However, the clincher is in tweaked_up:

Jan: Well there is this guy I met and, something he said just started me thinking
Aunt Gladys: oh...
Jan: I've been... tweaked up, haven't I?

Jan is clearly referring to her conversation with "Stupid Cop" when he picked her up in preparation for his vigilante hit and criticized her for not using her tweaked up talents for more than shoplifting. This appears to be the motivation for her to move toward being a do-gooder in the current Arc. The cop picked her up AFTER he interviewed her at the station in the first set of clips! I think this clearly shows that the three sets of Jan clips we have must go in chronological order. Besides, references in the Kamal and Durga clips clearly show chronological progression. The Jan clips would liekly follow the same series.

Location: Just outside of Pittsburgh (Go Steelers!)

 		domestic_skills is what starts the story for Jan. And it only makes sense that tweaked_up follows it. At the end of domestic_skills, Gladys agrees to help Jan with the dishes, and in tweaked_up, you can hear the clank of dishes while they are talking. It was very good spec coffee, but I think Arana is right.
