His version of the coordinate has a space in it, and that's making it come up odd. If you just type the coordinate into one of the search sites, it does indeed come up Irvine. I'll let him know about the error.

Edit: Also, 16:09 at the museum should really be 16:11. I'll fix it on Monday or Tuesday when I update for clip names and verify the axons for the day.

My god - they're bound and determined to call one of those phones in Mission Viejo...

I'll be there to offer any support I can... In the mean time, I'll check out that office-depot/max whatever thing...

Los Angeles area axon hunter here.

I think i'm gonna try to head down to a couple orange county ones (the block and the museum) this week. In the morning i gotta hit one in santa monica, but then I'm gonna head down to the OC if I can. If i'm correct, the 17:05 one at the promenade was never found (and not worth trying to find), right? Anyways, i know that these will probably already be covered, but I'll be in the area and I'm also hoping to make crew, especially since there have been reports of multiple crew members signing up in a single call. Hopefully at least one of em will get a live call. Smile

well, See some of you on Tues!

Oh no, we found it. (See Robynn's OC Axon page, there's a picture.)

It's just that the phone seems busted.

Well, I didn't get a chance to go the the mission viejo axon (darn you, 8-5 job!!!) but I sent an e-mail to the administrators of payphone-directory.org, so hopefully they'll update it there...

Thanks for the suggestion, Robynn!!!

If I can take an early dinner on Tues, I'll go on down to help you cover the phones.

Because of the time of day they are this go round, I'm going to miss both the Block and MV on Tuesday. I'll be able to hit both places on Wednesday if they're still needed though.

Good luck on your answering.

I can probably drag one of my co-workers down there to check the MV ones - I'll just park him in front of the Chevron one, and I'll man the phones @ Cocos... BTW, did anyone get the phone numbers for the Cocos phones???

We are slackers and did not. We didn't even check to see that they rang when called, although it wasn't indicated anywhere that they don't accept incoming calls. The host at the time (a pretty young guy) was amused at our scavenger hunt explanation and told us that the phones hadn't made a peep while he was around. We probably could have done a better job of checking them.

If I have time today while I'm in the area, I'll stop at the Office Max thingy. It's been a busy couple of weeks, sigh.

Well, apparently my co-workers are wussies, and not willing to stand in front of phones that MIGHT ring for a cause they know nothing about...

I'll man the Chevron phone, and pray that's the one...

I'm very hesitant to answer the phone if it does ring, as I'd hate to have Melissa on the other end of the line, and have my name show up on an axon spike when I've done so little and HitsHerMark and Robynn have been running around like maniacs... Smile

Even worse, I'd hate to be one of those "more dissapointing" calls if I get all nervous...

Well, I'm no Shad0, but I try to do my part. Very Happy

I do remember that there were little tags on the Coco's phones that said they DID take incomming calls.

But we did not take down the numbers.

And as far as the axons in the morning go, I'm so ready for those it's crazy!

Is there anyone in OC that i can call for the newest passcodes? I'll be out hunting and have no cell or laptop. I'll only be able to call from payphones. Please PM me or AIM message me if you'd be ok with this. my AIM name is chulo333. Thanks.
