I was told that the AXONs make up Constilations. If you take the cluster of 7 for certain wav files you can come up with things that represent consilations very closely. Or so I was told.
My point is, that besides sitting around and getting AXONs hot, we could also be doing some detective work.

We've been over and over the coords while waiting for B-Day. If there was something there, I'd think we'd have found it. I don't want to discourage you from contributing at all, but you might want to wait with us for the next puzzle to show up

Maybe the purposes of the Axons is that, as her "loyal crew", we must get access to all the voices in it's head and reorganize them for her to see.
This sounds good. I know a bunch of people have sent her the list of correctly ordered axons. Now that we have "hello" perhaps a list of those voices, correctly ordered, will also trigger something...

I have been working on the possability that the groups of 7 axons make up constellations, some do, some are much more difficult to make out for sure. I have mapped out all 30 of the axon groups. I ment to post them today but the files got left at home so i will try tonight. to see one of the maps follow this link. I belive that this is another puzzle to be solved. as has been noted before when a location changed it didnt move very far, so i belive that there is something in these groupings.

I will try to get maps of all axon groups up as soon as i can. tommarrow morning at the latest.

I think vector was the person that told me this.
Vector, I also live in Portland, OR. I was the guy that answered the phone on Woodstock and 44th on Sunday. I had brown hair Saturday at 82nd and Kings, but black hair on Sunday. If you were at the phones that is. There was a guy there (I forget names.... not good at them X_x) that told me about his Constellation idea.

Yeah, my friends said they were going to try again today, and yell into it. But I see the AXON didn't go hot... so either they decided sleep was a better idea, or it didn't work.
I am attemping to get into contact with 2 people in Corvallis that could probably get the one there really easy.
I am hoping it moves.

Actually, I had considered using better mapping for that. It seems you can use Long/Lat type info to plot stars onto a real sky like here:
http://www.xylem.f2s.com/kepler/starmap.html
This is likely to be a little different looking than a flat projection, if it looks closer to a constellation chart or not though...

I have pulled them into ArcGlobe (a 3D mapping tool) and i havent noticed much of a difference. although the program is for mapping things on the earth not in the sky... although i just got hit in the head with an idea, with all this talk of mirrors and all. maybe i should look at them as if the points were in the sky and the viewer looking up at them. essentialy plotting them backwards... ill let you know.

I have plotted out all of the points from the link page, grouped by axon. My new theory is that each axon group is a portion of a constellation. for example, hey_soldier looks like a portion of the draco constellation but also has an extra point that wouldnt normaly belong. that point may be a part of another constellation that should link with the hey_soldier. Put togather, this could be the information that melissa requires up to reorder and send back to her. This is some spec but i am fully confident that the points that were chosen are not random and mean something. I have attached a word doc with all of the images in it. you will see that although these are plotted on a US map, I have removed the US map to just view the axon groups and to better see them as stars or something else. so start playing connect the dots!

Did you mirror (left-right reflect) the axon maps to account for the view from Earth?

i did do a revers plot, this is eaisly done by removeing the negitive from the longitude value. nothing seemed to pop out at me but ill try to post a map of it tomarrow.
